It was allready covered by one of the popular Hi Energy labels of the 90's by Roger Lee on Disco Energy. Maybe a few of you remeber it? Of course, the Dead Or Alive melody has been prominent in Eurobeat for many years. HRG Attack is most fond of that melody. It's most recent use was in ODA's "Rainbow". The original Hearbreaker from TIME records ooozes of that melody line.
By the way, you Rockers out there should also remeber Marylin Manson's version of "You Spin Me Round"
Dope is a metal band (I think).
Here is the song on a Youtube vid :

Ha! that version sounds exactly like Manson's. Infact there is a debate on weather it's Dope or Marylin Manson? Anyway, I agree it is a great song in any genre. I say we give the remake to Mega NRG Man, because his voice is the closest I've heard to Pete Burns. Just Listen to Dog Eat Dog and Fire from old AbeatC days

Savage Garden - To the moon and back, covered by maybe Dave Rodgers.
The Spiders From Mars - "Fly to Me to the Moon and Back"
When I first heard that song I couldn't stop thinking of Savage Garden. I doubt Dave Rodgers will cover a track that's already so close to something he has done before.

Aleph - Fly To Me
Clearly it's only a matter of time before he does the second half of the phrase!

What if HRG, maybe Joe Banana(is he still with them?), actually covered YSMRR?
Other possible covers:
Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up
Bananarama - Venus, or Love in the First Degree
shiny toy guns - Le Disko(Delta Queens?)
Damae & Londonbeat - I've been thinking about you(maybe Dave & Nuage?)

Well, Kevin Johnson covered "Never Gonna Give You Up" a couple of years ago. Great song, BTW. Venus was also covered by HI-NRG ATTACK on one of their personal compilation albums.
I was thinking of some songs I would like to hear covered:
WEST END GIRLS/ PET SHOP BOYS (who would have a good voice for this?)
WANNABE/ SPICE GIRLS (prob already mentioned this, but I'm thinking Elena & Alessandra under the Go Go Girls alias)

Talk Talk - It's my life(if this hasn't already been done)
shiny toy guns - You Are The One(SCP duet?)

It's my Life was covered by Niko, however it wasn't the Talk Talk version, but the Bon Jovi hit instead.
I would rather see Rock covered by Eurobeat than pop. Music from the Killers and Panic! At The Disco has catchy beats to begain with, so they would sound pretty good being done by DELTA or SCP, but TIME could also take a crack at them with Christian or Gambogi's vocals

Try to pick songs that have an "a-melo, b-melo, chorus(sabi)" type structure(the eurobeat formula). Or is that formula tired? Like said in the SEB 183 thread, some eurobeat/trancebeat songs, ala "Because I Need You" are deviating from the formula.

FGTHW - Relax(would this be even plausible?)
Divinyls - I Touch Myself(has it already been done?)
Company B - Fascinated
Expose - Point of No Return
Lucas Prata - The Mayahi Song(of course you've heard the remix of the Romanian version(DDT), imagine it with the english lyrics)
Stevie B - If You Leave Me Now(which itself was a remake of Jaya - If You Leave Me now, his version has an italo-ish vibe to it)
Cutting Crew - Died In Your Arms

How about Real Life - Send Me an Angel. Has the "A-B-S" structure. Can't find any eurobeat covers of it in the database.

Done in the style of Heartbreaker 2k7 and Love For Money 2k7, it would be Eurobeat Platinum!

Virginelle, of course, would have to cover I Touch Myself...or Queen 26 if she wants to ride off of the coattails of Popcorns and Sex.
Some more suggestions (just got off a long 12 hour shift...so you'll have to forgive me that my mind is buzzing):
*I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE/ THE DARKNESS (Manuel?)
*MOONLIGHT SHADOW/ JEAN MICHAEL JARRE (Pamsy)
*ARE YOU GONNA BE MY GIRL/ JET (Toby Vale)
*BRING ME TO LIFE/ EVANESCENCE (Dark Angels feat Stephy Martini)
*LEARN TO FLY/ FOO FIGHTERS (Ace)
*CRAWLING IN THE DARK/ HOOBSTANK (Daniel & Cherry)
*BABY MINE/ from Disney's Dumbo (Domino)
*I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU/ IMOGEN HEAP (Leslie Parrish)
*ABC/ JACKSON 5 (De Leo)
*ALL FOR YOU/ JANET JACKSON (Irene & Damon)
*OMG SHOES/ KELLY (Lolita...lmfao...just kidding on this one)
*SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE/ KELLY CLARKSON (Karen)
*SOMEBODY TOLD ME/ THE KILLERS (Matt Land, Nick Mansell?)
*LOLLIPOP/ MIKA (whomever could sounds like Freddy Mercury)
*UNWRITTEN/ NATASHA BEDINGFIELD (Paul Harris)
*MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE/ THE POLICE (Daniel)
*BREATHE YOUR NAME/ SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER (Dave & Nuage)
*WALKIE TALKIE MAN/ STERIOGRAM (Fastway...rap!)
and a nice Eurobeat remix of SATURDAY NIGHT/ WHIGFIELD
