Aliases You'd Like To Hear From More?

Post by para_rigby » 01 Jan 2007, 12:15

See subject...Haha. Seems like there are some really good aliases out there we don't get to hear much from anymore or have disappeared from the scene. Who would like you like to hear more from?

Top 10
1. Go Go Girls (It's been over a year now, Avex!)
2. Delta Queens (Anouther, 'it's been over a year now!)
3. Virginelle (see #1 and #2)
4. Mad Max (sorry, but "Fire" stunk! Want more "Tsunami Comes"!)
5. Mako (where did he go?)
6. Monique (a great A-Beat C artist)
7. Niko (where is "Niko Kickboxing", already?!)
8. Roswell (still waiting for his 3rd song to be released)
9. The Spiders From Mars (one of the few great A-Beat C duos)
10. Virginia Toy (Harmony rocked my world! Love to hear more Clare here!)

1. Damon - Work Your Body was an amazing song that just had the bad luck of being on a cd with a LOT of other amazing songs.
2. Goofy DJ - Been several years
3. Bazooka Girl - One of HRG's biggest names, and only one SEB solo.
4. Domino - Either an A-Beat C, or that other SCP song she apparently did, but SOMETHING
5. Susan Bell - Only thing I really know from her is her last song (despite her doing so much more), but it *has* been a while.
6. Lilibeth - Well, considering Shine Forever was done before Euromach ended, apparently, and it took that long for THAT to get on...
7. Scream Team - I keep hoping for a new one each Halloween
8. Kevin Johnson - Seems like nothing since Akyr started up.
9. Sticky, Tricky & Bang - Probably was just a one-shot, but they had a nice style
10. Go2 - I mean, come ON, *TWO* albums without a Go 2 song!?

1.Virginelle - More of her doing that singing alone, no duets or anything!
2.Kiki/Fancy/Irene/Kika/George - Y'know the whole gang.
3.Domino - Really missing her feel good songs that were highlights for so many SEBs in the past.
4.Go Go Girls - Read the above. Great project all around.
5.Matt Land - Good looking, sexy voice and Suppahfantastico! And not enough new stuff lately.
6.Ika - If Emmanuelle came back I'd definitely want more of Ika ;_;
7.Dr's Girl - Still love this funky title and would love to hear new songs or even remakes.
8.Pizza Girl - Maybe my all time favorite Delta title, all tracks were marvellous.
9.Roxanne - This title really kicked ass with nearly each track released, would love some new stuff as well~
10.Bazooka Girl - Her euromach era stuff was awesome, more of that would be welcome.

Oh and on a side note, I had this image in my head that we had a similar topic as this in the past: http://forum.eurobeat-prime.com/viewtopic.php?t=358

Yet that's quite outdated, so a new one is all good~ I'm just gonna snatch the few titles I named back then as well :P

I only have five that are still involved in eurobeat.

Ace -> Yeah, I can't get enough as-is. haha
Damon -> Where is he...? SCP's said they've recorded more songs. Stupid Avex.
David Ropa -> Awesome. Nothing more to be said, really.
Mega NRG Man -> One song every 9 or 10 albums isn't enough. Not one bit.
Mickey B. -> C'mon, she always has good songs.

He did four songs under that alias [including M. Skanner in that total, of course]. :D

It'll be a bit hard hearing more from as to how he has unfortunately passed away :(

That's sort-of true. Gino Caria (the original voice of Lou Grant up to 1997 for songs like Maharaja Night) sadly passed away of lung cancer in 1997.

However, Davide Di Marcantonio had long since taken over the vocals under Lou Grant's pseudonym - including songs Money 4 Love and Don't Stop The Music.

Davide, though, no longer sings for Time either (having moved to Vibration, then to form Dima Music).

So yes, Lou Grant seems to have been retired permanently, but for several reasons ;)
