Frankly, I'm happy with much of whatever HRG chooses to do. If they get a tad more serious, I won't mind. If they change their style, I might be a bit sad but I'll live.

Honestly I think we fans should be happy with whatever we can get our grubby little hands on.

I'm not asking for a total paradigm shift from them, just to branch out a little bit, and get away from songs like "Super Kaiser" and "Maid Attack" for a while....

Had to bring them into this didn't you? Well I guess I deserve it for picking on SCP :P

I just bought 179 from mu-mo and here are some first-listened opinions. :)

The Hot
Irene - Let's Fly Together
Magika - Dancing to the Moon
Eriak - Fever & Music
Digital Planet - We Can Be Heroes
Toby Vale - Heartbreaker 2007 (THIS IS A KICK ASS REMAKE)
Dany - Love Is Like A Fever
Lucya - Follow The Rainbow
Powerful T. - I Want You
Franz Tornado & Mozzarella Girls - Sucka Sucka Pizza

The Not
Daniel & Cherry - Bach Is Back
Queen 26 - Don't Let Me Be The First
Daniel - Frontal Impact
Remy Panther - On The Road Again To The Show

The "WTF???"
Three of Spades - Dancing With a Reptile (is abeatc's trying to redo the 'gogo girls' songs? stick with groove twins/king & queen. lol)
Christine - Summer Ski (okay... it's not a bad song but it's just like... why? haha)

Favorite Tracks:
Norma Sheffield - Do You Wanna Fly
Mega NRG Man - Red Light And Sex (AWESOME SONG!!!!!!!)

Thoughts:

The majority of the songs on this album are really good - which surprised me (and makes me happy seeing 177 and 178 weren't all that great to me) - Red Light and Sex is just kick ass and clearly the best song on the album for me. I am not a fan of the new guy, Daniel (is he new? XD) and the most disappointing song for me has to be Bach is Back. No one these days can incorporate the lyric "parapara" in a song except for you know who. ...especially seeing parapara has nothing to do with Bach. XD

First impressions of the album are very very pleasant, I wasn't expecting for much due to the tracklisting not looking like the most thrilling...

Irene's song is so amazing, her voice is way more clear now as well. <3 the song. And Fever & Music must be the best Time song in quite a while again.

Let's Fly Together by Irene is easily the winning track from this album for me, but that should come as no surprise for those that have come to know my favourite styles ;)

Also, the first line of the chorus of Fever & Music is so similar to Mr.M's "Music Fever" in terms of lyrics and rhythm, with only the notes changing. It's a great song, but I'd like Time to be a bit less obvious when the borrow from their old hits :D

Danger In Chinatown is easily the best HRG track for ages (alongside Super Kaiser) - it's just as strong as the excellent Shake Me Up from Euromach, which was of course also by Jungle Bill ;)

Some nice surprises here - a strong end to the 170's all in all... ;)

I love the Delta stuff on this album. I love Daniel's vocals. I hope he is here to stay =]

I thought 175 would clearly be the best album on this decade but I think I've been proven wrong. There aren't about any bad songs at all imo, a few weaker songs that don't stand out as much but they flow on rather well in the end as well.

Remixes are pretty damn nice as well.

Ha Ha! You noticed on "Love is Like A Fever" same hook too?Mr. Dall'Ora does this on purpose. Both songs have the word "Fever" in them :D

Great cd. All labels did magnificant. Mini Mini Review(Just for fun. Nothing too heavy)
The Best:
Order of Preferance
1. Toby Vale(Nothing can touch it)
2. Magika(Pure magic in the Moonlight music)
3. Mega NRG Man(this is so hot it literally blows your clothes off)
4. Erika(Elena gots the Para Para fever)
5. Jungle Bill(Danger for other labels)
6. Daniel(Crash into you perfect)
7. Dany(Definately cures my fever))
8. Remy Panther(on the road to old HRG Power)
9. Franz Tornado & Mozzarella Girls(I think I'll order one now)
10. Queen 26(takes me back to my SAW years)

the O.K.
11. Daniel & Cherry(Classically Powerful)
12. Lucya(I could get cozy with her under a rainbow)
13. Powerful T.(T. for This TIME he rocks)
14. Irene(Not a bad little diddy)

The "Couldv'e done without"
15. Three Of Spades(Only a Reptile could dance to this )
16. Norma Sheffield(Sorry Norma, I'll take the train)
17. Digital Planet(so far away from a hero's song)
18. Christine(I give up on you)

HEARBREAKER blows everything away, but the song is so short that it's almost a kick in the nuts. Anyone want to do for the doctor an act of mercy and send him thier extended version?

Only got a handful of them. Absolutely loving Follow the Rainbow. And I agree with Nine about Summer Ski, it's a nice song, good production, but could really go for a few more BPM.

Norma and Mega NRG Man were pretty good too. Didn't care much for Bach is Back (I'm sorry, but that organ intro annoys me, that theme is overplayed in non-classical settings, and it's already been done in eurobeat).

Only listened to the remixes so far. Parapara Girl is definately the best of them :)
