This is perhaps one of the more surprising posts I'll make in a while, given how I got into Eurobeat, the first label I was into, and the occasional notice of HRG staff in places I go like Facebook. With those in mind...
...I think I'm burnt out on HRG.
Almost every single clip on iTunes in the Super Duper Eurobeat collections, either had synth riffs that were too chaotic to follow, or too bland to bother. I mean, the production was solid, and SOMETIMES the lyrics got out of the immense clichés, but... I'm just not hearing the same vibe. That synth riff is of ultimate importance to me when it comes to Eurobeat, and HRG used to be the MASTERS of it. Now it's just not clicking for me. The songs aren't BAD. They're just not what I like anymore.
If HRG was interested in the kind of riff I WOULD like to hear from them, I'd be willing to provide one of four examples. I just think that, for all their recent effort (assuming SDE has recent tracks on it), the riff shouldn't be the thing they let go. All respect to Live Music Team, in EVERY OTHER FACET I think they've stepped up their game. But the riffs just push me away.

A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

Hinoi Team is just We Are The Teens with slightly different lyrics in the chorus (by that, I mean the use of the song title).
On a second note, however, I actually quite like most of these samples. Hi-NRG Attack sounds like they're really experimenting with new sounds and ideas on a lot of these tracks, making this compilation quite variable. I'll probably buy a bunch of these song, as I think this could be similar to the surprisingly great Cream Eurobeat album.

I just barley got Super Duper vol. 4, but I can really say that Huly Guly Alligator, Like A Bird...,Once Upon A TIME..and Sun Of My Heart are top of the list for me.
Is Dup 5 on Juno yet, so I can preview it.? [/quote]
I think you might have outgrown thier sound. Wasn't that label your avatar at one point? Anyway, I'm completely the opposite. Since Eurogrooves has decided to be a cover label of thier own music, I've grown even closer to thier style. Tracklist:
1 Hinoi Team - Tri Star
2 Bingo bongo - Mad Cow
3 Supersonic macho man - Black Eva
4 I'm so desperate - Baby Gold
5 Paratronic - Claudia VIP
6 Rock music - Claudia VIP
7 Champion of the discoteque - Garcon
8 You can make me feel out of control - Baby Gold
9 You are the victim of love - Rick Castle
10 Valentine knight in the night - Baby Gold
11 In the summer love - Doll Sisters
Samples on I Tunes are way too short to get a good impression of a song. But sometimes after downloading a song turns out surprisingly greater than even expected (like "I'm so desperate")

Makes sense after hearing this news:
http://kotaku.com/5822507/legendary-jap ... h-trolling
And I also understand why avex has got a new director and a plea for more "upbeat songs". Im sure this is going to make a big move oversea's with all the newfound vocaloid biz.

Aside from that, What an awesome update on HRG Attacks new songs. I hope they don't forget thier extensive roster of Artist names and especially do not give up on theier new Retro Italo sound.
Super Tubleing Toreo sounds weird, but Franz hasn't had a hit since Suk El Kazoo, so I'm waiting on that one. Hoping Francis Cooper is that retro style like Cherry LIps and Pretty Woman. and it seems Cy-Ro is runnimng the show nowadays.
interesting post, though I do not like the use of the word "Cheesy" to describe Eurobeat. I don't think that guy is a fan at all?Makes sense after hearing this news:
