21. When you see a tracklist of songs before a release, which labels songs do you usually anticipate for?
I usually anticipate SCP, Delta, Go Go's Music, and Hi-NRG Attack the most.

22. From the labels you listed in Q21: If you could make your own group of the singers from these labels, who would they be and what would their group name be called?
Dunno, probably just a collaboration between Ace, Fastway, and Christine, very much similar to Blood On Fire.

23. Is there a song you like that doesn't get enough attention?
There are many songs that I think deserved more attention, but I'll give this honor to Killer Queen by Matt Land because it was his debut performance at A-Beat C and just screamed to be an enormous hit, and yet it didn't appear on a single compilation after 103. Blamsphy.

24. What is your favorite Eurobeat series?
Super Eurobeat, of course.

25. What is your favorite Eurobeat CD? If possible, why did you choose it?
Euromach 1 earns this honor from me because it's about as well-rounded as you can get based on my tastes. The share of artists and labels is perfect, the tracks are consistently very memorable, and there's really not a single track I don't enjoy.

26. About how many Eurobeat CDs do you own?
I've mainly downloaded eurobeat in the past, but now I'm resorting to buying them from CD Japan as of late. I own 175, 183, 184, and am ordering 185.

27. Do you own Eurobeat 12" Vinyls? If so, about how many do you have?
No.

28. Do you dance ParaPara?
No, though it looks somewhat cool.

29. If you said yes for Q28, please state where you dance at (club, arcade, cons, home, etc).
Well, I do play DDR and StepMania for a fix of eurobeat dancing...

30. Have you made a Nonstop mix or edit before?
I kind of started one, but I've never actually finished a nonstop.

31. If you answered yes in Q30, please list the Nonstop mixes or edits you've made before.
...

32. What is your favorite DJ remix team?
New Generation

33. What times do you listen to Eurobeat?
I listen to eurobeat pretty much all the time, especially when I'm working out.

34. Where do you listen to Eurobeat?
While running, or just whenever I'm carrying my iPod nano around.

35. There is a strong connection between cars and Eurobeat. Do you drive faster if you listen to Eurobeat in your car? If you don't have a license, would you run?
Uh, cars are connected to eurobeat? Just because Initial D exists doesn't mean they truly are...

36. Are you picky about the sound system in your room or car?
Nah

37. If you answered yes in Q36, please state your sound system specifications.
Not much to say...

38. What is your feeling about Anime (like Initial D) and TV Shows (in Japan) that use Eurobeat?
I'm glad eurobeat is being promoted in ways, but I'm a bit on edge with it because most people tend to associate the genre completely with their promoted sources (for example, I gave a friend of mine a few eurobeat samples and all she really described about them was that they were "Initial D Music").

39. If Eurobeat were to be used in an anime or TV show in the future, what type of scene would you want it to appear in?
An energetic eurobeat track during a battle scene would be quite neat, as would a softer performance during a more romantic circumstance.

40. What is your favorite songs in a genre directly connected to Eurobeat? (Hyper Techno, Italo, Hi-NRG, Disco, J-Euro, etc)
Not really into related genres to eurobeat.

41. Do you have Eurobeat ringtones on your cell/mobile phone?
I probably would, but I don't really use ringtones.

42. What if the Super Eurobeat series ends?
I would probably lose a lot of interest in the genre, but I'd keep my tastes alive so long as the labels continue to release their songs elsewhere.

43. What other dance music genres do you listen to besides Eurobeat?
I like eurodance, j-trance, and j-pop (mainly hello! project).

44. In Q43, what is good about the genres you listed compared to Eurobeat?
They aren't as upbeat or thrilling as eurobeat, but they do tend to avoid the rehash effect more easily.

45. How many Dance music CDs do you own (including Eurobeat)?
Eh, not sure how much exactly, but around 20 perhaps?

46. What kinds of things are you going to be expecting from Eurobeat in the future, good or bad?
On the good side, I'm looking forward to the genre gaining far more widespread promotion and recognition. On the bad side, I'm getting a bit concerned about the direction Avex is heading with the Super Eurobeat series, having changed the structure to only 13 tracks for 186.

47. What words do you have for the Eurobeat labels?
Keep it up with producing new songs, don't be afraid to be creative, and recognize what most fans enjoy out of your productions.

48. What words do you have for avex?
Bring eurobeat to places beyond Japan!

49. What do you think is good about Eurobeat?
It's really just nice, energetic music that you can be addicted to for ages.

50. Write your last words about Eurobeat before this ends! (lol)
Keep it up everyone!

1. What is your handlename/nickname?
Bore / Rhi (Latter stuck from WoW days.. or well originally from way further... but that's a different story).

2. What is your birthday?
22nd of October.

3. Your bloodtype?
I have no idea, only donated blood once and you gotta do it twice here to know your type.

4. Where do you live?
Oulu, Finland.

5. What year did your first listen to Eurobeat?
Hmm, I'm quite honestly not sure whether it was back in 2001 or 2002, initially it was through a misstyped Leslie Parrish song. 'Twas under the artist
title "Dolbi" for some reason, had no idea it was eurobeat back then but loved it right off and wanted more.

6. Where did you first listen to Eurobeat?
Back when I still used to live at my parents, that much I'm sure of... so was before 2003.

7. When you first heard Eurobeat, what was your first impression?
The misstyped song I heard sounded really unique and different from the usual eurodance I listened, instantly wanted to get more, but I had no idea it even
was eurobeat back then...

8. What is your favorite era of Eurobeat?
Hmm, well I'd probably go with the SEB 90s and 120s, those two decades were pure bliss.

9. What are your favorite labels?
Currently would have to go with Delta & Go Go's Music, but it has changed multiple times while the time passes.

Delta. The label has picked up the pace from the previous SEB decades and their products these days are insanely catchy and well produced.

11. What are your favorite artists?
Matt Land, Lolita, Domino, Kiki & Fancy, Fastway, Christine...

The artists for the most part have had long careers and have kept the level of their tracks very high all around (with a few exceptions).

I have to admit I never paid that much attention to which producer did which song, but looking back to many of my favorite tracks I have to say Stefano Castagna & Evelina Somenzi rise above the rest.

Well, simply because they've produced most of my all time favorite eurobeat songs.

15. What type of Eurobeat do you like (Aishu [sad love songs like Norma Sheffield], Aggressive, etc]?
The girly, bubbly kind of eurobeat rises above the rest for me. Bless Avex for releasing 185 with a lot of it.

16. What song do you like to listen to often that you think will become popular?
Most of the songs I listen to a lot and feel _should_ have become popular are already quite old, so no go for them... but umm from recent productions I'd say Cherry - Yes I Will.

Paradise
