Nah, it was something else. Hi-Site is the label behind Follow Me by Lady Baby (cute, but disturbingly pitched) and Flash In The Night by Flashman (energetic, but vocals are a bit unpolished as well).

Come to think of it... I wonder if there's any labels that are out there that we don't know about right now? Wouldn't that be something? (Sorry for the derail, it just sort'a reminded/inspired me.)

They are a lot of Eurobeat labels. Almost every month i get to know a new Eurobeat label.(J-Euro counted)...its really impressive how SEB can forget all these wonderful labels...

That Hi-Site label had a lot to do with with Jimmy Diamond/Mad Max. Listen to DELTA's Stay With Me and those Europanic male sung hits like Tokyo Nights and Dancing In The Dark. They have that Gilardi style

I miss Hi-Site, they had some of the most catchiest tunes (as cheesy as some of them were). Really wish they had extended versions out (would definitely like Mission Impossible, and Tokyo Lights)

Speaking of Hi-Site, I wonder if the vocalist behind Jimmy Ray/Diamond, the original Mad Max and Hi-Site's male tracks could be Alex Gilardi himself. I mean, we can hear his voice in all Gilardi-written male tracks besides Jungle Fever, and he doesn't really sound like a professional vocalist, does he?

Somewhat more on topic, Alphabet Records is (was?) another Japanese Eurobeat (not J-Euro) label. They produced a few kick-ass tracks, such as Boom Boom Body Talk and Animal Man, which appeared on early SEB volumes. I believe they also produced several Initial D 4th Stage tracks. I'm still wondering if their vocalists were Japanese - they sound quite strange, to be honest.

I always thought Johny Bomb! was Johnny "Boom Boom" Di Martino of the Factory Team of Saifam. I'm very surprised to see that Alphabeat records is based in Japan.

Alphabet tracks were only released by Avex, as far as I know.

Eh, out of what I've heard, the Alphabeat vocalists don't really sound Japanese imo. The label reminds me of Bemani in that it hosts quite a few vocalists who aren't native to Japan.

No the vocalist for Johny Bomb was John Cantlay.
