I don't know if I already told you guys, all vocalists are American ;)
And if anybody wants to hear a song tell me and I'll make a sample of it.

Oh I was wondering about those Digibeat CDs. There's tons of them in Japanese second-hand CD shops. I was about ready to toss out mine, but I think I'll keep it!

Indeed, keep them they're really good ;)
And after some years their worth will raise even more.

bumping because i have new information and this is a good information thread. Also, para_rigby started the conversation again in Today's Tune.

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%AB%98% ... 0%E7%9F%A2 Takase Kazuya is Worm World writer and F.T.K. He also worked for I've -> http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%27ve

C.G. Mix real name is 畠山慎司(はたけやま しんじ) http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/C.G_mix Hatakeyama Shinji (family name being first)

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E4%B8%AD% ... 3%E5%BD%A6 this guy under the name of fish tone worked on King Joe which is a trance series under digibeat and maybe some others.

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/MELL same mell that did video-killed-the-radio-star and the winner takes it all. The vocalist doesn't sound Japanese though in those songs but I could be fooled???

damn i went to a-kon in 2007. i guess i missed her =/

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%B0%8F% ... 4%E5%AD%90 Mitsuko Komuro is Piccolina.

Are people really sure Lisa Wilson is Jennifer, Debbie, Katrina, etc.? Based on C.G.'s real name (Hatakeyama), H.G. Mix on Euro 3 credits must be C.G. Mix. I guess he decided to change his alias when Euro 4 came around. I still don't know who Lisa Wilson and Kandii Kane are. Euro King is C.G. Mix according to the Wikipedia article though. It looks like many of these vocalist questions can only be answered by asking Kazuya or Shinji themselves. The hard part is finding them :(

What I think what makes the sound of Digibeat unique is that the lyrics are so different from anything in SEB. There aren't so many fire/desire/power etc. lyrics (except Baby Take Me Higher haha) as well.

Darksky wrote:Actually not, because Digibeat has remixed the tracks on the That's Eurobeat Now albums.
They have the same lyrics etc.. but they're not exactly the same tracks.
I think that the songs on That's Eurobeat NOW are extend. See I Got Somethin' (4U) / Viscious V. on the show me (b4 za beat remix) vinyl that is the same length and same sound on That's Eurobeat NOW and vinyl.

I didn't say they were the same. I was just asking why some people may think lisa wilson might be all of those aliases.

Found out some more information about digibeat.

Takase Kazuya's twitter -> https://twitter.com/iveitiya He hasn't tweeted anything since Apr 9th though....

http://www.pacificmoon.com/home.html This is a project that the producer of Digibeat continues to work on. It looks like New Age music or music that is usually played in "Chinese" restaurants. Anna Sato (writer of a couple of Viscious V. songs and some others) is one of the artists as well it looks like.

The vocalists for Digibeat were chosen by audition in LA (Los Angeles). Unfortunately, Piccolina (Mitsuko Komuro) does not remember their last names. She didn't give any first names either =/

I have the first 4 digi comps. They never really stood out that much to me, but it's been awhile and I avoid megamix comps now.

Digibeat is indeed owned by Chapter One Co., Ltd. but is now defunct – there is hardly any activities around this label and little information is available.

Therefore, unfortunately, we will not be able to comply with your request.

my quest for vocalists continues~
