I'm pretty surprised that Avex didn't pick up Dance To The Music / Za-Za for this album; a Kevin Johnson song with a title like that doesn't sound like it would fit the theme nearly as well.

Listen to Domino & Kaioh / Nack 5 here:

Click on the picture of the guy with a Guitar - there's a sample clip button and a sample of a parapara video :D

(It's just a little clip - but it gives you an idea of the awesome song :D)

Even though I am against listening to samples, I took a listening and it definitely sounds like a hit worthy of the Best OF SEB 2008

I honestly was hesitant at first when I heard of the track but wow that is one killer riff hook. Frederico (Freddy Rodgers/Kaioh) sounds sexy.

Good job Nine,The Riff rules. Sounds catchy and from that small preview sounds like Freddy and Domino will share vocals. At least on the verses.

It always kills me how the para para dancers just stand there during the intro and suddenly break into dance when the riff starts. The intro deserves some moves too 8)

Nack 5 sounds quite promising, but I'd like to hear all the vocal phrases before I make a full evaluation of it.

That's hilarious! Radio jingles have never sounded this good in the UK!!

It worries me that the lyrics are just going to revolve around the frequency (79.5) and the name of the radio station (Nack 5). Wonder how many different ways they can find to sing it! :D

Wouldn't expect anything less from Domino. The slightly harder synth lines really do fit in well for GGM and they should stick to them. Thinning out the synth just gives bad results in the end. As long as GGM don't go down the Norma-lane things should be safe ;/

Agreed wholeheartedly. With VERY few exceptions, it's tragic when soft synths happen to good producers. It's the slow distancing from softer synths that's made GGM improve slowly, and what's kept Sinclairestyle down, so far, for me (other than Avex not choosing a single song with a male singer).

For my money, the best synth riff sound really HITS you, almost RIPS through your ears. It could almost have a more rhythmic tone to it when done well. ABeatC really hit the mark with synths when they did Pamela by Matt Land or The Race Is Over by good 'ol Dave.

Whoa, power song.

And yes, Freddy Rodgers does sound VERY different from his days of Dance to the music and R U Ready ... He sounds mature and sexy now.

R U Ready would sound a lot better if Federico re-recorded it now that he's older - that track, along with Creatures / Lara and People Like Dancing / Mega NRG Man, is one of the worst eurobeat songs I've ever heard merely for the fact that he was way too young for the song at the time - his whiny vocals made me utterly cringe, not to mention considering he was a kid singing about sex (!). He sounded far better in Dance To The Music.

I think R U Ready and Dance to the music were not comparable, sure they have their own merits but it is definitely not hard to conclude that R U Ready WILL appeal more to fans of heavier eurobeats more than Dance to the music.

 Being the heavy eurobeat fan I am ... You know. :D
