No No/ Mix Jean
This song has been on heavy heavy rotation on my iTunes for the past month. I ended up really enjoying the megamix version instead of the radio mix, but that's just imho. Gianni has an absolutely great voice and accent that I don't particulary get with male euro vocalists. The way the song is mixed with sample on EBF 17 is just wonderful...cowbells, anyone?

hmm...but when did Claudio sing under Robert Patton? unless he was denied and it ultimately went to Dima. Maybe secretly he always wated to sing Robbies songs. There is definatley some story behind that anagram?
HRG Attack is full of weird artist names esp for the guys. Starkly Ice, Babby One, Bugaboo.Cy-Ro,Mote Mote.Tam Arrow...What's up with that roster?

Woah! I haven't heard of Eurobeat artists doing anything like that before. Nice catch indeed!
The only other artist I know who uses anagrams is Aphex Twin, but that's another story...

Mara Nell - Crazy Disco Mania. Unusual style for a Mara Nell song, and HRG in general. One of Monica's last songs with HRG, and she uses her real voice here, (or is at least less pitched than usual)
And, Martina Dry - Bye Bye Portofino. Nice Aishu tune, and the vocals aren't distorted like most of the "generic vocalist" songs.

iTunes is probably old news to most people, but I got on board and bought some SEB from iTunes.

I get to hear the song in its glorious form! This wonderful 1999 entry is among my favourite GGGs song and probably the best from the era.

I "rediscovered" this track on a Eurobeat mix CD I made for the car the other day...
What Kind Of Cure / Kasanova (SEB 177)
This alias in general had never actually had the balls to grab my attention before, and most of his tracks were way to sappy or weedy to appeal at all (the awful Hug Me is a prime example). But somehow for this track, Dall'ora injected some raw testosterone, especially during that angsty, industrious intro. I adore the melody in this track, and it has stood the test of time well to become one of my favourite Time tracks from that era.
