And SEB's a mystery
SEB's turnin' up and down all of my history
I cannot resist SEB's mystery
But all SEB's lies just say SEB's alone alone alone
And SEB's a mystery
SEB's love is like a skyway to my destiny
A black leather lady
Mystery
I'll never understand SEB at all at all at all
I know SEB's my mystery
SEB's turnin' up and down all of my history
I cannot resist SEB's mystery

Shawaazu
add some music and you got a Eurobeat song, but please don't sell the rights to AVEX unless you wanna get axed from your rights to the song. And SEB's a mystery

Yeah it'll totally make an awesome Eurobeat song, but since I can't write music if my life depended on it, I should ask SCP to do it. OH! and I've totally got Ennio in mind to sing it yepyepdrnrg wrote:Shawaazuadd some music and you got a Eurobeat song, but please don't sell the rights to AVEX unless you wanna get axed from your rights to the song. And SEB's a mystery

Okay, this delay that they're talking about of 200 till around January 2010...does that pave the way for the creation of a new series or is it just going to be a big Eurobeat void for 6 months from Avex?
I really hope they give us another series to showcase the "Avex labels" (GGM, SCP etc.) more modern style if the post 200 albums turn out to be older style. I'd hate to think that we won't have any more tracks in the style of Ultra Mi-Ha Deluxe or Super Rider.

The_Ditz, think logically.
When Avex doesn't create a new Eurobeat serie, labels can't create new songs, so they will not gain any money for 6 months. They get BIG financial trouble and will close their studios. Which means the end of Eurobeat, because with no labels in Italy, the genre could NEVER survive.

Well there's nothing to stop labels producing new tracks and Avex paying them for those tracks in the meantime. It doesn't mean that we're going to have a new series. I'm pretty sure that Avex has a massive stockpile of songs that have never seen the light of day...DarkSky wrote:The_Ditz, think logically.

This is so very much true. All the labels have more than enough songs that have never been used. This break period could used to showcase of these because some of have been waiting so long they would stick out in a normal SEB.the_ditz wrote:Well there's nothing to stop labels producing new tracks and Avex paying them for those tracks in the meantime. One idea I wish would happen is that for 4 of the months normal is gone they do 4 compilations of the best of SEB like somelike HISTORY OF SUPER EUROBEAT! Part Vol. 1-50 and so on to celebrate the twenty years of history.

Absolutely. Remember back to 2002-2003, when the Euromach series ended completely? Hi-NRG Attack and SCP were both completely scrapped from almost any type of music series until being introduced to Super Eurobeat on vol. 141, but that didn't stop them from producing lots of music, even if not all of it would come out immediately. I'm quite sure that songs such as Breakin' Out and Crazy Sexy Baby by Ace, as well as Come On Baby and Open Your Fire! by Fastway were produced around the period of time in which they would've been ready to be released had Euromach continued a bit longer or SCP started on SEB in the 130's instead of the 140's (hence the fact they weren't ever released until the special collections, since they fell behind other, newer songs that existed at the time of the 140's), and I wouldn't be surprised if there are plenty of other songs in the SCP catalogue with the same fate. Similarly, just look at Hi-NRG Attack's catalogue - songs made from about HRG 475 - 520 were all produced during the time they were on hiatus from Avex's compilations, and yet they were clearly still making music as quickly and diligently as ever. There's no reason any of the labels would necessarily have to stop making music just because they're on some sort of hiatus; I'm sure they'll be able to eventually any of their tracks whenever soon possible.the_ditz wrote:Well there's nothing to stop labels producing new tracks and Avex paying them for those tracks in the meantime.
