Haha, it feels like the album samples are always released on a big day for me. Last month it was when I had my Senior photos taken, and now it's my birthday (and first day of school)!

It was a super hot day over here, so these new samples cooled things down a bit. I sense a lot of hits on this cd.

8) Perfect Eurobeat zone
:D I can hear it sizzle
:) This one could grow on me
:???: Not really feeling it. I need more
:-x No just NO!

Let the games begin!

01. LIMOUSINE [Extended ver.] / MANUEL [Go-Go's Music] [04:38]
Sounds a lot like a Rock Opera. I wonder if Manuel could cover a Meatloaf rock classic? This one has the grown on me effect.
:)

02. BIGGA BOOM [SEB ver.] / CHRISTINE [SCP] [03:56]
She sounds like a child immitating a child. The good thing is the song is less than 4 mins long. Pure crapola x3.
:-x :-x :-x

03. 1.2.3.4. FIRE! [Extended Mix] / DEJO [SinclaireStyle] [05:01]
D-Essex sounds a bit like Dave Rodgers in this clip. In fact the clip sounds kinda like AbeatC style. sounds like it could be awesome. All avex clips should follow this format.
:D

04. WONDERWOMAN DREAM [Extended ver.] / DESTINEE [Dima Music][06:07]
Destinee kinda sounds like a young Elena Ferretti. I like the buildup the chorus showcases. Kinda reminds me of Dima's old Europanic days.
:D

05. ALL ABOUT YOU [Extended ver.] / DREAM FIGHTER [Dima Music] [06:20]
Probobly the least interesting sounding clip from all of Dima's entries, but then again, the riff was cut, so it could be great and I wonder how Dima will make the most out of those 6 mins.
:???:

06. FEEL THE POWER INSIDE [Extended ver.] / JOE D.TOASTER [Hi-NRG Attack] [05:45]
Joe and Mr. Moog are definately gonna duke it out to see which of these two trax becomes my favourite. Love that synth effect after each line. ..and the riff takes no prisoners.
8)

07. LUCKY STAR [Extended ver.] / CLAUDIA VIP [Hi-NRG Attack] [05:40]
OWEEE I hear some classic Italo feel in that riff. Has the In My car vibe,. but that riff will be epic
8)

08. I NEED A REVOLUTION [Extended ver.] / MARKO [Delta] [04:54]
kindfa does sound like Daniel. Anyway, this clip is hot. DELTA back with a bullet!
8)

09. STARDUST [Extended ver.] / MR.MOOG [Dima Music] [05:29]
These 4 songs will most likely put me in my perfect Eurobeat Zone. This clip sounds spectacular. That chorus has alot going on synthwise. All I neeed is Bang Bang Cowboy.
8)

10. STAY WITH ME [Extended ver.] / MARIKA [Delta] [05:41]
Another new artist. I'm loving these release more and more with each clip. Too soon to tell if it's classic DELTA status ,but I feel it sizzle
:D :)

11. HI LOVE [SEB ver.] / JAY LEHR [SCP] [04:00]
Wow! Jay sounds better with each release. This clip has me hyped for more SCP hits.
:D

12. THE RACE OF THE NIGHT [The Race of the Night EX. ver.] / DAVE RODGERS [Sunfire Records] [04:43]
Solid follow up to Powerful T's mega chartbuster. The clip sounds a bit mono, but I'm hoping that's just my player.
:) :D

13. 恋しさと せつなさと 心強さと [EUROGROOVES REMIX] / m.o.v.e [avex] [05:04]
Sounds like Eurogrooves got kicked to the curb here. That rap sounds horrendouz. next
:-x

14. TAKE MY BREATH AWAY [EURO HEALING] / ACE [SCP] [04:25]
Doesn't sound like ACe will be healing much of anything with this clip.
:-x

The clips sound mighty great. The last two songs are wasted space and one crapola entry from Christine. The hit ratio on this cd is very high.

Looking forward to Christine's song most, but a lot of nice songs on here.

Really impressed by Feel the Power Inside. Almost doesn't even sound like HRG.

01. LIMOUSINE [Extended ver.] / MANUEL [Go-Go's Music]
This doesn't blow me away quite as much as I'd hoped. I didn't care for the chorus of Nighttrain either, though, so hopefully the rest of this will sound better.
:|

02. BIGGA BOOM [SEB ver.] / CHRISTINE [SCP] [03:56]
I simply don't dislike Christine songs, really. Fun stuff here - I like the sound of the synth phrase, too.
:D

03. 1.2.3.4. FIRE! [Extended Mix] / DEJO [SinclaireStyle] [05:01]
This has a pretty strong pre-100 SEB to it. The vocals are a little drowned out during the chorus, but overall I quite like the sound of this.
:D

04. WONDERWOMAN DREAM [Extended ver.] / DESTINEE [Dima Music][06:07]
A pretty okay, but unspecial track. Good vocals, but the song is pretty generic and doesn't really showcase them very well.
:|

05. ALL ABOUT YOU [Extended ver.] / DREAM FIGHTER [Dima Music] [06:20]
Another very average song from Dima Music. It's neither that catchy nor is it that melodically deep, though it's not bad either.
:|

06. FEEL THE POWER INSIDE [Extended ver.] / JOE D.TOASTER [Hi-NRG Attack] [05:45]
Joe D. Toaster songs tend to be in kind of a style of their own, for Hi-NRG Attack standards at least. This has a melodic key and style that I'm not terribly used to from the label, and for that I actually quite like this so far.
:D

07. LUCKY STAR [Extended ver.] / CLAUDIA VIP [Hi-NRG Attack] [05:40]
Not bad, either. It's not really a standout track in any respect, but it still sounds quite nice and isn't tiringly generic like Screaming Out The Power was for me.
:)

08. I NEED A REVOLUTION [Extended ver.] / MARKO [Delta] [04:54]
I'm just really not a fan of Morris Capaldi's production style these days, probably because he suddenly has such little emphasis on the offbeat bassline and uses synths that sound underpowering. Still, this is a very nice track melodically. I just wish it were made in 2006, back when Capaldi was awesome, not 2010.
:)

09. STARDUST [Extended ver.] / MR.MOOG [Dima Music] [05:29]
This one was pretty darn good, and probably my favorite sample of the bunch. This is another track with a great pre-100 melodic style to it, but also what sounds like one heck of an awesome synth hook. Can't go wrong with Magnani on the vocals, either.

10. STAY WITH ME [Extended ver.] / MARIKA [Delta] [05:41]
Morris Capaldi again, but at least the style fits this song much better than the Marko track. Another really good song overall.
:D

11. HI LOVE [SEB ver.] / JAY LEHR [SCP] [04:00]
Another really nice surprise by Jay Lehr. This one isn't nearly as far-out as Little Little Love was, but it proves that Jay is just as adapt to traditional eurobeat as he is to more experimental tracks in the genre.

12. THE RACE OF THE NIGHT [The Race of the Night EX. ver.] / DAVE RODGERS [Sunfire Records] [04:43]
Better-produced than Louder & Faster. Not an amazing song, but I guess it's nice to see that Sunfire is apparently still producing eurobeat as well as rock.
:)

13. 恋しさと せつなさと 心強さと [EUROGROOVES REMIX] / m.o.v.e [avex] [05:04]
This is a pretty darn interesting J-Euro remix. Love the rap section. I'm particularly excited for this one more than any of the other track 13 J-Euro songs (Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride may be a fairly tough act to follow, although I also loved Survival Dance). One of my favorites on the compilation so far.

14. TAKE MY BREATH AWAY [EURO HEALING] / ACE [SCP] [04:25]
Such a low-energy version of a eurobeat song probably doesn't sound like it'd be in-place in context with the rest of the album, but I think it's actually a pretty nice idea. Honestly though, I far prefer the original version of this song.
:)

Overall, these samples didn't quite live up to the very high expectations I set on them, but this still sounds like a very strong SEB. Probably not the best of the decade, but I'm definitely looking forward to its release.

The chorus of Stay With Me follows along the lines of Labyrinth Of Love

Wait.... are you actually saying that there was a new Dima track that you didn't hate from the samples (aka Stardust)?? :o

Nurse, pass the defibrilator - my heart has just stopped from the shock!! :P
Yup because it actually sounds like real eurobeat to me. :-P And note I even like Delta's entries as well! Whodathunkit I like eurobeat that sounds like regular eurobeat :-P

Lyrics to 1,2,3,4 FIRE!
9 to 5 and I’m all right but now I need some fun. I need it!
Go! Please go train! Please go faster get me out of here.

As soon as I get home my life is up.
As soon as I get on it’s a new start.
I wanna be all right and all dressed up
I’m gonna rock the night

Walking alone, I’m on my way coming home
and counting 1.2.3.4. Fire!
Ready to live, tonight I’m going to breath.
I just can’t wait for squealing tires.

1.2.3.4. and I’ll be there, by the front door I will enter.
I feel better, I get closer to my new begin.

Click on publishing and then click on whatever song lyrics you want. Technically speaking, There isn't a "link" to the lyrics page so there you go.

My full initial impressions from the samples, using the ever-popular smiley scale!

01 MANUEL / LIMOUSINE
While I have a strong feeling that this track will grow on me when I can enjoy it in full, this sample just sounds very messy with too many ideas and melodic elements clashing together in a short space of time. It does sound like at least it may have a more aggressive production to silence the recent GGM haters, but I'm hoping for some more cohesion from the rest of the song.
:|

02 CHRISTINE / BIGGA BOOM
Christine and her "bigger bum" aren't really a welcome addition to this album just based on this sample. The synth production sounds a bit watery by SCP standards (almost straying into SinclaireStyle sound), and the vocals are just way too sickly - Christine has a really insipid child-like tone in most tracks anyway, but hype the vocals up and it's like a kindergarten day trip!! One of the worst SCP choruses I've heard in a while...
:-x

03 DEJO / 1,2,3,4, FIRE!
I've been listening to a lot of tracks from the SEB80-120 period, and this could sit quite happily with them. I love the synth hook of this one, as it has some real impetus behind it, and the oohh-ohhhh parts are also a nice touch. I don't think it will be hitting the heights of Toy For Love, but this could be one of the stronger tracks on the album.

04 DESTINEE / WONDERWOMAN DREAM
She's a pretty lady, but sadly she's been given a track that really pales into insignificance. The melody trundles along with no major highlights, and the production is fairly bland, and overall I was just left feeling that I needed to listen to Aleky/Krystal/Kate Rush again. I think the song does suit her voice, but this female Dima Aishu style isn't the way I'd like the label to go at all...
:-x

05 DREAM FIGHTER / ALL ABOUT YOU
I still can't listen to the start of this song without hearing Krystal singing "Follow my dream" (from "Dream" on SEB 198). Because of this, we are left with a song that my brain is always trying to compare to that song, and sadly from this sample it doesn't really make it. It's a pleasant melody, and I prefer this style better than Wonderwoman Dream, but I need a more convincing performance to be converted...
:|

06 JOE D. TOASTER / FEEL THE POWER INSIDE
Interesting, I've never heard those synth sounds used in an HRG track before (between the vocal phrases). Sounds like the guitars have also been cranked up a notch, and there is something about this track that once again tells you that Hi-NRG Attack are taking this production business seriously again. They will always use the tried a tested chord patterns and melodic phrases, but when it sounds this great who cares?

07 CLAUDIA VIP / LUCKY STAR
The production and vocal match in this track isn't the best I've ever heard - the synths always seem to be trying to overpower the vocals at every turn. This is pleasant rather than ground-breaking - I guess it's what happens when you are on a roll, there will always be a few tracks that don't quite hit the sweet spot. Still, it's very listenable.
:)

08 MARKO / I NEED A REVOLUTION
Unlike Megan, I still can't get enough of Capaldi's production style. This track just takes me back to when Delta was at their strongest in my opinion (around the SEB 180's, which seems longer ago than it actually was!!) Love the extended guitar chords and the power throughout the production brings the song to life.

09 MR. MOOG / STARDUST
Thank god for this track, as I was really starting to worry that Dima had lost his way. To the contrary, he has a quite clear direction with this track - right back to the glory days of Vibration, with that awesome synth sound in the riff and the more classical Eurobeat percussion. Vocals sound great too - definitely the sample of the bunch for me.
:!:

10 MARIKA / STAY WITH ME
I'm sure this one is going to be a really special track in its full version, with the slower BPM allowing the new vocalist to mark her territory. This is perhaps Delta's take on the new style that all the other labels have been developing through the 200's, and if that's the case I say bring it on. Great to have the label back!

11 JAY LEHR / HI LOVE
Thank god that Jay has abandoned the bizarre anime stylings of Little Little Star for this sped-up disco style. This one has some nice images in the lyrics, and the overall production creates a much more complete soundscape than Bigga Boom. Great stuff!

12 DAVE RODGERS / THE RACE OF THE NIGHT
Bass much?? Here we have that typical ascending melody highlighting the song title - it's been done so many times before, and so this track does end up sounding a bit like a "heard that, next please" song. However, the production has some interesting quirks that makes me want to hear more.
:|

13 m.o.v.e. / 恋しさと せつなさと 心強さと [EUROGROOVES REMIX]
Eurogrooves have a slower style going on hear, and from what I could hear of the production I really liked it. The funky rap section in particular highlights a style we haven't really heard from the label, so I can only hope that this is the shape of things to come when the label eventually releases some new original material on SEB.

14 ACE / TAKE MY BREATH AWAY [Euro Healing]
I actually enjoy this in a bizarre sense. The sounds are so dreamy and the laid-back hook reminds me of lying on a deserted beach with the sea gently swishing on the sand. This could hopefully be a much needed chillout track after an awesome action-packed album of Eurobeat treats!
:)

Promising stuff after a very shaky start. Unsure of clear standouts yet, but Mr Moog and the two Delta offerings are leading the way for now.

Totally agree. BTW,Did hell freaze over? This is about as classic as me putting that angry smiley on that Eurogrooves remix of M.O.V. No biasness on this cd that's for sure.

I kinda agree on the rest of your intaill imprerssions except the last two trax and Destinee ,which gives me a Europanic flashback :)
