Just discovered this beautiful new generation Italo gem released last year on mp3.
Beautifully sung female vocals in Italian.
Don't let the slow start fool you, the chorus comes in with a blast.
What a powerful, and emotional chorus.
One of the best I have heard, somewhat in the vain of the beautiful Italo Goddesses such as Valerie Dole, and Elena Ferretti.
Such beauty, and power

Song can be listened to here, along with English translation of the lyrics below the video as well:

Just had to thank you for posting this. It's been playing non-stop on my spotify for days now. Songs like this you don't find often
De nada :P

I have 2 really good song to share.
I'm in love with these song since it's they are so addictive!

The first is a HiNRG tune.
The single I'm talking about is by Peter Wilson, "I'm Alive".
It was released 2013 on his album "Pulsation", (actually the whole album is pretty much 80's tunes).

The Tony Marinello's retro NRG mix is my favourite (the last one on the video sample)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5VPgaWPGCw

The 2nd is an 80's sounding HiNRG Freestyle tune, released in 2012 by the same artist.
This song is "Don't Let Me Go".
I can't find a youtube video to share it, but there is a short preview of the song on Amazon:

Pete Wilson really gots his NRG vibe down. He kinda looks like a WWE wrestler :P Actually the sleeve of "I'm Alive remindas me a bit of SCPs sleeves for Jay Lehr reminds. Tuff looking guy singing Eurobeat.

Anyway, I think "Pulsation" is most truest to the 80s Italo sound. Amazing!!

You're right the last remix for I'm Alive is the bossest!

BTW, see the name Tom Garrow. Look for "Comeback" from 2013. sounds like it could have been pressed on the High Energy label of the 90s. His vocals are totally Hi-NRG style
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l16nu9GCik

Here is his new one. "Forever and Ever" 2014 Sounds very Fred ventura. YOu should like it. True Italo NRG. All 6 min+ runTIMEs.

If your poison is the female vocals then here is another Tom Garrow prod.

Tina Jones - Be My Hero
Sounds like new Italo is kicking some Eurobeat ass. 8)

There's this song I've been listening on Repeat in the last hours. It's not Italo-Disco... but more Hi-NRG.

Rose Laurens - La nuit

Rose Laurens - La Nuit was big Hi-NRG hit of 1986.
The synths made to sound like horns in Hi-NRG music were amazing.

I have this on an old cassete with some Bronski Beat too.

I have a bunch of Hi-NRG 45s I aquired when I went traveling Europe in those years.
This was one of those.

Always wanted to know what the transleted lyrics would be. I think they be French?

..and I don't mean "Love Emotion" with the same melody. That one has totally different lyrics.

You know about that song? Awesome.
Yes, the lyrics are in French. I'll translate them for you later.

I've always liked the 1986 song by French singer Mylene Farmer, "Libertine". If I remember correctly, she is actually born in Quebec but now lives in France and is extremely famous there.

The song has a somewhat HiNRG-ish sound to it I would say.
And the music video was one of the first music videos ever to show a completely naked female in the nude showing full frontal nudity...It combines a somewhat gothic feel to it as well, (white painted faces, and there is blood too!) and is quite a long music video! I'm surprised the video isn't even blocked on youtube for it's nudity. The video really is a work of art, and plays like a mini movie. While many other 1986's music videos in North America were just pure cheese, France released this work of art:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AQRBt9ibJ8

Funny how some pop singers like Madonna say her song Express Yourself was plagiarized by Lagy Gaga's Born This Way, but in fact many French have stated that the melody in the first verse of Mylene Farmer's "Libertine" was plagiarized by both Madonna and Lady Gaga (if you compare the chorus melody in Born This Way to the first verse of Libertine), which isn't a surprise knowning Madonna lost a court battle before for her song "Frozen" being ripped off another European (an unknown artist by the name of Salvatore Acquaviva) in the past and being banned from singing that song on any of her concerts in Belgium.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NthVLTySskY

Anyway, some of Mylene Farmer's other songs and music videos from the 80's are quite good too, and quite provocative themes even before mainstream American pop icons have given any light to those themes.

I found these very interesting posts back from 2005 on this forum, which might make some Stock Aiken Waterman fans on here quite happy! Peter Wilson wasn't that famous before and didn't seem to work much with Stock Aiken Waterman when this posting was made back in 2005...
Here is the link also of the thread:

euromania!! wrote:Hi everyone
My name is Peter Wilson and I am a singer with an album in Eurobeat style coming in Europe 2005. More importantly I am a lover of Eurobeat, and and so glad to find this forum!!
Everyone here seems to know so much about all things Super Eurobeat, and hopefully I will learn alot.
I have some questions that maybe someone knows the answer to.
Whatever happened to Samantha Gilles? I have ALL her albums and have not heard about her since 1996.
Also, did Annerly Gordon release an album?
Anyway I hope to meet some nice people here and if you want to see my site go to: www.peterwilsonmusic.com

Thanks!!
euromania!! wrote:Hi guys and thanks for your answers.
I have the Lolita and Virginelle albums. They are good, but I think Virginelle is my favourite.
To answer some questions, "Angel Eyes" is not produced by SIB. I wrote this song and it was produced by same team as "Mama Told Me". (My intention WAS to make a Bohlen style song!!)
But I will be recording 5 or 6 songs with SIB, all in the classic Modern Talking style but a little updated, to make it fresh for 2005.
The rest of the album has been made in Australia and Denmark, and will be a little slower than the Super Eurobeat style. I will say that I hope to have 2 duets with 2 80s Eurobeat superstars. I think Eurobeat fans will be happy. I can't say just yet who these girls are, but I am sure it will meet with approval.
There is a song written by Fancy ("Chinese Eyes", "Bolero", "Slice me Nice") I have done called "Follow Me". This so far is one of my favourites and I hope you will like it. Fancy fans will know this song as the b side to "No Tears".
Anyway thanks for your really nice words. I hope you enjoy my stuff. Also, as I don't want to BORE people talking about myself, feel free to ask me questions privately and I will answer them there is that cool?
I want to use the public forum to talk about the BEST music in the world, EUROBEAT!!
One last question, I want to buy the latest Super Eurobeat but saw the review was not great. Should I get:

SEB 153
SEB 152
Best of SEB 2004

Help me haha!!!
Pete Very Happy
So who is Peter Wilson, you say?
Just look him up on discogs.com, he is an Australian aritst who has worked with the actual Stock Aiken Waterman team in the last couple of years after his posting was on here back in 2005!!!! To know that he has commented on the Eurobeat Prime forum in the past and was hoping to learn more about Super Eurobeat is quite an honor.
Probably as close as it will get to getting somebody like Kylie Minogue and Dead Or Alive (who has also worked with Stock Aiken Waterman before) commenting on this forum.

Just another testament that there are fans out there who are big in the music industry who still understand about the modern eurobeat sound as being a tribute to the old eurobeat of the 80's, such as the many projects of the Stock Aiken Waterman team, and are even taking a "cue" from the Super Eurobeat albums in making new style eurobeat for the European market! (the label he is on is for the UK market) This is fascinating news to me as a lover of the Stock Aiken Waterman aritsts :!:

Who says now that SEB is not listened to by more elaborate artists out there and even influenced by it, regardless of its low sales and how we tend to under appreciate it just because it isn't popular by most mainstream artists out there?

Yes, I understand it was an old posting, but even Peter Wilson has produced 80's style eurobeat songs in 2014 with a somewhat contemporary sound to them for easier listening for mainstream media.

New awesome 80's style eurobeat/hi nrg remix of Pete Burns - Sex Drive, remixed by Digimax 80's, the same guy who remixed Vibration's song "Mike Danger - Crazy" into an 80's style eurobeat/hi nrg song.

This song makes me so very happy! I want to request this guy to remix some newer eurobeat songs into the 80's style eurobeat/hi nrg since he does unbelievable remixes! :!:

WOW indeed! I have the original vinyl of that Glam with Pete Burns song. I thought the original was just fine. It was NRG enuff for its TIME, but this new remix is amazing! What I love about it, that Miguel kept the true DOA; Hi-NRG, sound throughout the song. I just wish he had used the spoken part in the middle breakdown instead of the intro, but nontheless; he has really breathed new life into a90s NRG classic.

Pete Burns has always been one of my fav Hi-NRG vocal pioneers. His vocals just fit the Hi-NRG style so perfect.

I'm telling Miguel Cruz is very talented and from Mexico. On another of his youtube mixes he includes a Hi-NRG remix of Maria Short's - "Light My Fire" Another vibration track. I'll post the link once I find it again.

Yes, he is very talented indeed!
I would love to see that link for Maria Short's song. Please post if you can find it.

On a side note, Miguel's new remix of "Sex Drive" is currently voted in 4th place according to "Club 80's Radio Show", which is a show where listeners can vote top Italo, and NRG tracks. Also that Peter Wilson I have been talking about before who has even commented on this Eurobeat Prime forum (who has many songs produced by Stock Aiken Waterman) has his official mix of one of his songs in 5th place.

Other notable artists such as Albert One, Fred Ventura, and Italove and TQ all have positions on the chart as well.

Live shows done every couple of weeks, and a newly updated chart always updated on their website. They have a youtube channel as well as you can find their earlier shows on soundcloud.

Some of the shows have old retro 80's Italo and NRG songs, and other are new generation songs.

Here's the link (sorry for it not being highlighted, but for some unknown reason, this forum isn't letting me post it properly today!)

@synthjunkie.

The Maria Short song is part of a Megamix. I think the mixers were actually from the Orient, beacuse of the inserts in betweens songs. They didn't sound Mexican. I fell on it by chance. I just let the next mix play that youtube had already filterd. It actually had quite a few songs I hadn't heard before. Anyway, try hunting for it too.
