Kiki & Kika...

What happened to Kika? I've noticed that it changed to Kiki & Fancy.

my theory is that since kika (and lucya) was elena sbalchiero, once she left SCP, they got rid of kika. oddly enough they replaced her for the lucya alias though.

I don't know, really. The first song in which they used Kiki & Fancy instead of Kiki & Kika was I Wanna Play Guitar!, featuring Goofy DJ, and I don't think they started using someone else for Kika/Fancy at that point. I have no clue who the real vocalists for the group are/were, but I'm not positive that Elena Sbalchiero was ever Lucya. All I really know is that Christina Tosi was one of the vocalists in All For Love and Jungle Night, two of the first Kiki & Kika songs.

This is now a KIKI AND KIKA Appreciation Station.

I started listening to EASY BUSY and SNAKE DANCE again because of you guys. Good vibes. Good vibes everywhere. :D

Yes yes yes to Snake Dance. It's absolutely one of my favorite eurobeat tracks ever.

Really sad that we haven't had a Kiki and Co. track in years!

JUNGLE NIGHT is raaaaaaaad! You got me on it again! I used to listen to it all day. I, too, am frustrated over the lack of an extended, but such is the fate of many an excellent EUROMACH track.

Trivia:

SNAKE DANCE was released in the Chinese Year Of The Snake, which explains the bit in the lyrics about the Big Year Of The Snake. I thought that was super cool, and maybe you will, too. Stefano Castagna is the man, but you all already knew. :!:

Being a big fan of anything with Kiki/Kika/Fancy in it, I never really could pinpoint the favorites out of the bunch. Either way the fact is that as far as upbeat and bubbly music goes, SCP has really hit the jackpot with these tunes as they have lasting power and just remain great year after the year.

My pick for the day is definitely Wake Up! Which always gets me on a good mood.
