Old School fans should enjoy this a lot.Bunch of new 2012 Italo songs on youtube to Keep us bust till SEB 221 decides to came out.

Casanova - Angel Eyes

this one is my fav of the bunch. Produced by ken Martina(hmm...)sounds suspiciously familiar and artist name is Casanova. Sounds alot like the early 90's Italo NRG from TIME ect....Even production value is above average.

Italove- Rendez Vouz

Italove also have Follow Me To Mexico and Illusion, which is their new double A side single. Illusion in particular is stunning! ;)

Another one.

Tommy Sun- Loverboy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tqa6MrcrgzI

Wonderful in the synth area, but needs some serious Mauro Farina vocals, maybe even femal vocals could do the song a but more justice. The singer isn't bad for Italo, but he needed to follow a more melodic chorus.

@ditz.

I will check those two out.

@ vadim.

The link that opened up was a song called Eppur si Muove by Skynight Avenue. Or was that vice versa? Either way; I loved that song. Great melody with wonderful synth riff. Kinda had a Doctor Zivago vibe. The singer; not movie.
Nice find.

You guys know I follow the band ItaLove real closely.

Seems they have new material for 2013 for tyhe Italo High Energy Disco lovers.

Check it out, It's full of FIRE and Desire and sounds like Bobby O, Mike Mareen, Trans -Xect... These guys really listened to thier TIME records over and over again. The video is classic 80's. Including babes in Wrestler masks. :!:
Man, I hope these guys come down to Mexico this summer.

ItaLove are the best Italo Disco group out there now as for me they have found a way to incorporate more commercial melodies while still keeping the pure Italo Disco sounds. They are just amazing, and I seem to love every single release that they put out.

Illusion was the other song on AA-Side release for Follow Me to Mexico, and I think I enjoy it slightly more ;)

Follow Me To Mexico is very close to my heart, but I believe Illusion does have a tastier synth riff.

Yes, Italove is great. I too have been following them for a while now.

You guys might want to check out www.spacesoundrecords.com
They mostly produce space synth music, which is a sub genre of italo, which was started by the likes of 80's groups "koto" and "laserdance", but they also release some new italo-disco tunes as well.

One of my favourite from spacesoundrecords at the moment is TQ - Let's go to Tokyo

Here's the vid:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bi--TSdGJD4

another one of their cool songs are here too:
TQ - Let the Night Remain Forever
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VA3p9l_jM4

You might enjoy seeing TQ performing with Trans-X live last year in California at a club:

On a somewhat related topic to italo, and eurobeat:
I also listen to a radio station from Poland which plays alot of Italo-disco and Eurobeat, but for copyright reasons, they call their station italo euro disco, instead of eurobeat. I talked to the owner of the site and he said he said that he was asked to remove using the names eurobeat and super eurobeat off the site a few times for having them as the station's names. I don't know if it was Avex or what...
They don't get many listeners to listen to their eurobeat radio station, so please support it by listening to it, so that it won't be shut down! and so that more people around the world will be exposed to it.

http://www.maxitalo.pl/#

The radio station to click on is "IN THE MIX - ITALO EURO DISCO"
half is eurobeat, and half is some other italo house, or italo-disco mixes.

Incredible finds man!!! :D

I love Pasquel from Trans-X. Living On Video is one of my allTIME favs. Up there with Love Spy

TQ sounds great. Her vocals fit the HI NRG Disco sound.

That song Let's Go To Tokyo incorporates Facsination which was original sung by the group Live On Video; who are Pasquel L. and Lady D.

That song they performed in the AVEC club is Imagination; originally sung by Lady D. She also sung I'm Your Tonight

@ synthjunkie.
If you love that Spacy NRG instrumentals from Koto and Laserdance ,then check out Trans-X- L.O.V. 2011 There are quite a few versions of the song, but this one is my fav and closely resembles the Koto sound.

Also try out the group Alien Nation for Instrumental spacy Hi-NRG

Cosmic Life
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TedIQEUInjg
wonderful tru extended mix.

This one too. Planet Love Actually my favourite of the two.

Speaking of which, I'll mention that in this year's Swedish ESC preselection, a bit surprisingly, there was an entry with an Italo sound. A brilliant song, the best of the whole year in my books:

Martin Rolinski - In and Out of Love

:!: Martin was robbed of a place in the final in favour of icky Anton! I adore In and Out Of Love, but apparently it sounds very similar to a Modern Talking song. There was a lot of controversy on chat forums about plagiarism :(

Actually, after listening to it, to me it sounds like it uses some of the melody from the song "You're my heart, you're my soul" by Modern Talking.

Compare the video from Martin at 0:53, where he starts to sing "my heart is breaking" and compare it to Modern Talking's song at 1:11, in where they sing "you're my heart."
You can hear how both songs have a 2 part chorus, in where the 2nd part reuses the melody of the first part, but in a raised pitch, also notice the similarity in the melody of the 2nd higher pitched chorus, and also how both songs use the words "my heart."

link for modern talking's song "You're My heart, you're my soul" is here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kHl4FoK1Ys

Still, I think that the song by Martin is pretty good, not the best italo inspired melody, but at least it is exposing the mainstream media to some form of Italo, even though it does have a more modern feel to it with the opening baseline, and the synths used for that, and unfortunately it is missing a riff....but still million times better than the whole lot of other bad electronic songs on the contest, which to me sound all the same, and copy that American "dance pop" sound sung by so many untalented artists these days whose names I do not wish to talk about now.

Martin Rolinski - In and Out of Love

That's a prety good song. I was never a big Modern Talking fan myself, but they did have some highlight melodies in some of thier songs.

This song could have used A bit more of the Italo soundworlds. Instrumentaions and arrangements sound a bit like top 40 EDM, but not all that bad, since it sounds more like Serebro style than Rihanna...and I like Serebro :)

I had a real hard TIME listeing to the majoraty of those other entries. Sean Banana, Swedish House Wives? Are these for real :?
