She is on a roll. I've enjoyed the last three songs she put out tremendously. Good melody in the chorus too.
:D
This makes me soooo happy! I remember how traumatised I used to get when you would dismiss every amazing Pamsy almost immediately. Glad that you are finally falling under her spell too.

I guess you could say I'm finally warming up to her style. besides, I really only dissaproved of her 160-180s transy showings. Except "Walkin' In The Shadows" That one is Mega!!!

BTW I"m hoping we get the extended version thar runs 5:26 instead of the 4:22. Even though I don't concider 4:22 an edit, I would still like to listen to the extended Spring Version.

Amen to extends. On my side, I sure hope that the two Sun Fire tracks (and perhaps just perhaps, Ace & Fastway's tracks) run a good 4:30 or more like they used to be. I can understand the relatively shorter length for a Rich Hard or a Norma track (even then, they had songs that were 4:30 and above and sounded amazing), but there should be no reason why a Dave Rodgers or a Powerful T song should run only a measly 4 minute when a simple guitar solo would have easily jacked it up a notch. I am not concerned with Delta since these guys make it past 5:00 with ease all the time.

*fingers crossed*

This album... it has almost no songs in the middle for me: it's either good or bad.
First impressions ratings:
1. BRAND NEW WORLD / ACE 9
2. TIGER / MANUEL 9
3. DON'T KEEP YOUR LOVE AWAY / PAMSY 10
4. NEW RACE GAME / DAVE RODGERS 9
5. UNFORGETTABLE / CHERRY 4
6. HOT LIKE A FIRE / REMY PANTHER 9
7. CRAZY LOVE (Platinum version) / CASANOVA 8
8. WHEREVER FOREVER / CIAO CIAO 4
9. BACK SHADOW / POWERFUL T.
10. POWER AND GLORY / LUKE 6
11. HEY YOU! / ROBERTA 8
12. THE DAY OF THE RAIN / DREAM FIGHTERS 4
13. BOOM BOOM BOOM / ULTRAVIOLET 5
14. DANCING OUT OF DANGER / FASTWAY 10
15. FOR THE FANS / TORA & DEJO 5

Some may have noticed, I did not post any impressions for SEB 228. I think it's pretty self explanatory what I think about it (there's a couple of good tracks but meh.) But this one has pretty good tracks. Maybe enough for me to consider making an album mix like I did for 221, 222 (unreleased - shitty mix I believe), 225, and 227.

Tiger is a Manuel/GoGos production at Ritmo & Blu. Where does it say Dima?

You should know by now that SCP will generally use the shorter versions on SEB, keeping any possible extended versions for their own digital releases.

Here are the running times according to Tower.jp

1. Ace - Brand New World (03:56)
2. Manuel - Tiger (04:41)
3. Pamsy - Don't Keep Your Love Away (04:23)
4. Dave Rodgers - New Race Game (04:20)
5. Cherry - Unforgettable (04:54)
6. Remy Panther - Hot Like A Fire (05:17)
7. Casanova - Crazy Love (Platinum Version) (05:33)
8. Ciao Ciao - Wherever Forever (05:10)
9. Powerful T. - Back Shadow (04:02)
10. Luke - Power And Glory (05:10)
11. Roberta - Hey You! (05:07)
12. Dream Fighters - The Day Of The Rain (04:57)
13. Ultraviolet - Boom Boom Boom (04:57)
14. Fastway - Dancing Out Of Danger (04:06)
15. Tora & Dejo - For The Fans (05:47)

Interestingly, they also have 45 second audio previews on the Tower website where you can hear a bit more of the songs, including the verses. ;)

After listening to the longer previews on Tower Records site, I have veyr good hopes for this album.

It seems SCP and GoGo's music take the lead with 3 amazing songs that start this album. Manual sounds AMAZING!

And Pamsy is sounding better and better, and could totally pull off as a commercial mainstream song on the radio. I know some of you might not like that, but regardless, she has been around longer with her own trancey style than many of today's newer mainstream pop artists, so that doesn't bother me at all.

Ace sounds very good as well!
Actually almost all the songs I like except the ones from HiNRG attack. The Delta song with Clara Moroni actually sounds good too, more like her older style with the nice bell synths like the older italo tunes, which I haven't heard used in years.

You want to tick off those in favor longer extended tracks? If so, well done.

It is what it is though, I may have expressed disappointment with the song lengths (I would be lying if I said I am not completely unaffected by itt) but I know I'll still enjoy listening to them anyways. I also find it funny that the 'short' tracks usually come from my favourite labels. Trolling much? :|

Whatever it is, 3 more days to release. I sure hope that this album is good enough to tide me over the gap between 229-231 (assuming 230 is some kind of megamix).

Powerful T. - Back Shadow (04:02)
I guess we can rule out an awesome Guitar mid break :(

anyway, quite a fewt of trax run or almost run the 5 min count, so I'm excited. 8) [/quote]

sinclaire style's tracks up on amazon

Post by synthjunkie » 15 Jun 2014, 19:52

Sinclaire Style's songs are up for preorder on Amazon.com

The samples differ from Avex's. You can hear the verses before the choruses on all 3 songs. I am loving Maurizio's voice on the older unreleased/updated mix for Crazy Love. THIS is the voice I love and heaven't heard him sing this way for years!

The sample for Roberta - Hey You! seems to let you hear some of the intro.

Here are the links:
