Some Eurobeat songs similar to this list

Post by alpines » 03 Aug 2014, 22:48

Hello Eurobeat-Prime-Forum,

I didn't know that eurobeat-prime had a forum until I was looking for one.
Anyway, I'm listening to Eurobeat and I'm still looking to expand my "library". I'd really appreciate it if you could help me to find or name songs which are similar to these ones:
  • 1.2.3.4. FIRE ! / Fastway
  • 1.2.3.4. FIRE ! / DEJO
  • Black UFO / Lupin
  • Chica Loca / Jeff Driller
  • Dynamite / Ace
  • Funky Funlover / Go 2
  • Made of Fire / Niko
  • Night of Fire / Niko
  • Number One / Fastway & Christine
  • Passport To Dance / Eurodudes
  • Rock On Fire / Mega NRG Man
  • Seventies / Mega NRG Man
  • Spitfire / Go 2
  • Viva La Noche / Christine feat. Elvis El Latino (SEB199 Remix)
Thanks in advance for any help!

Welcome! You could go in a thousand different directions for songs just based upon this list. That's what is great about the genre.

If you like male aggressive songs, you could look for songs by The Snake, Manuel, David Dima (his early work), Dejo, Bon, etc.

If you like stuff like Christine's music, check out songs by Irene, Go Go Girls, Domino, Lolita, Melissa White, Monique, Kiki and Kika (or Kiki and Fancy)...

My recommendation would be to listen to whole SEB albums. The compilations are a mixture of many different Eurobeat labels. Your list covers the labels 3B/Asia (Lupin), SCP (Fastway, Go 2), SinclaireStyle (Dejo), Hi-NRG Attack (Jeff Driller) and so on. These are only a few of currently active labels. You'll see that each label has its own style, that's why I think you should check out whole SEB albums. The current ones have got six to seven labels per album.

Yes I thought about that too and I'm listening to these :D
Currently at SEB 86 and I'm already noticing that I kinda like the new SEBs more than the old ones.

In most cases, this preference depends on your date/year of starting listening to Eurobeat. For example, I came to this genre in 2010 and love many of 180+ albums and almost each 200+ SEB. There are members here who love older decades because they found Eurobeat when "their decades" were the current ones. :)

Yes, I agree with that. Well I think that there are tracks I like on the old ones too so there's no way around listening to every SEB :D

Of course there are. Some of my favorites are "Just A Game" or "Brown". These songs appeared in the very beginning of SEB. Also, the songs of Toby Ash or Gino Caria were excellent ones.

I'll recommend Save Me - Leslie Parrish, Remember Me - Leslie Parrish and Killing My Love - Leslie Parrish (I think you can spot a pattern)

They're all classics and a great introduction to eurobeat

Thanks for you recommendations. Indeed I like manly eurobeat but also energetic and aggresive tracks which basically most of them are manly tracks :D

Fixed typos for you~

As somebody mentionned before me, you should listen to SEB compilations instead. Telling you to go and try this and this blindly is not extremely effective. For me, I'd say give a listen to Super Eurobeat Vol.195. It's just the best SEB compilation ever released.

Thy typo happens sometimes because I got used to Nico instead of Niko :D
I assume you're right and thats what I'm trying to do but I listen to these compilations while doing other stuff so sometimes I'm not 100% there.
Therefore I'm just asking for some directions (artists, labels,...) where this list could lead to.
