Jaz = Katchy Core ! and Karen J Wainwright profile pic

Actually, I noticed that the vocalist from Jaz is the same for Katchy Core :)

Btw, it seems to be Michela Capurro, but is it true?

And do you know where I can find Karen Wainwright ? Is it her on the ''In the heat of the night'' vinyl cover?

If Fausto's old website is anything to go by Karen looks like Allison Limerick / Grace Jones

I always thought she was the woman on "Heat Of The Night".

Anyway, an interesting thing about her is that a while back ago I found her earliest recorded song from 1988, but unfortunately, she is only featured as a backing vocalist.

The song is "Nobody Loves Me", by Thomas Marin.
The same Thomas Marin who is Mega NRG Man, and others, etc.

You can see she is given credit as the backing vocalist for this 1988 song:

Song can be heard here:

Another interesting note is that this song was remixed into a eurobeat style by Mega NRG Man back in 2008 on the Mega NRG Man Special Collection Vol.6, but unfortunately, Karen Wainright is not featured on this song...

Anyway, I hope she makes a comeback one day.
I really miss her so much on her older A-Beat-C hits...
Sunfire would really shine through with a strong female vocalist like her at this moment in time.

She, along with Stephy Marin and Michela Cappuro (Mickey B.)are by far the most "diva" like vocalists in the eurobeat world who can really belt out a tune like no others.

I would love to see a comeback with any of the above as a duet, or even all 3 of them together would be even better! :P

To the best of my knowledge, Karen left ABeatC at least a decade ago and everything since was older material just released or slighty updated then released.

I don't believe it's up anymore.

He had a page of Eurobeat artists he's written for, all the known faces were correct, so I can only assume it's actually her but who knows.

I personally never really cared for Karen as an artist. She had a distinct tone, yes, but she would frequently go off pitch by oversinging her lines. Her songs and voice started to improve towards the end of her time at A-Beat C, but for the most part, her material lagged quite behind that of her contemporaries, even during the late 90s, when A-Beat C was at its peak. She still outmatched Norma Sheffield, at least.
