I'm enjoying plenty of the songs on the preview so far.

Stephy Martin - 79
I like how the riff sounds like it's taken inspiration from the riff of Dave's "Final Countdown." I also sense it to have a 70's vibe to it in way the vocals are sung towards the end of the preview.

Dreamfighter - Dance For Love
I really enjoyed how similar this song sounds to Dead Or Alive's Hi-NRG hit "You Spin Me Right Round". Looking forward to hearing how this rendition will be different from previous DOA-sounding eurobeat songs.

Leo River - Prince Of The Night
It seems to hit me in all the right places with its tones and I'm sure it will be a favourite of mine on the album.

Kaioh's - Nitrofire
I hear it following the tried and tested eurobeat formula which most fans seem to love. I can totally hear Mega NRG Man influences in this song based on the preview and hoping it to be a major hit song for 2016.

Grace 2U's -Wake Up Everybody With Cupid
I'm really enjoying the slow pace on this one and can't wait to see how the verses will play out.

Paul Harris - You're Not Alone
I'm loving the melancholic tone on this one. It sounds very 1980's Jason Donovan-esque.

The rest of the preview's song are not my taste, but that might change upon hearing them in full when it finally gets released.

Right off the back; I just hope that awful music in the preview's intro is not part of any song. Sounded too techno. I think this album will be great. Dima's "You Spin Me Round", er I mean "Dance For Love" is Mike Hammer's "Heartbreaker" all over again. 5 stars.

qick mimi review with smiles based on previews.

8) = Eurobeat perfection
:D = very happy camper
:) = still keeps me singing along
:| = need to listen to full song
:( = probobly skip this?

01. NITROFIRE / KAIOH [GGM]
Wow! This one sounds like it was produced by Dave Rodgers. maybe Dave's actual Sun Fire entry sounded too much like this one, but this one was better? Who knows? But I like what I hear here.
:D

02. LIVING ON THE EDGE / TIPSY & TIPSY [3B]
Nice synth riff, but the chorus sounds very repititious.
:(

03. WAKE UP EVERYBODY WITH CUPID / GRADE 2U [SCP]
This sounds rather great for SCP. Loving the aishu vibe of the song.
:D

04. DANCE FOR LOVE / DREAM FIGHTERS [DIMA]
Oh My Oh My. The DOA melody sounds so delightful to my ears. This is the closest a Dima track has come to sounding like it was produced at TIME records. feels like 1992 all over again.
8)

05. STRAWBERRY HEART / ELLY [SCP]
I don't care for this one too much, that thumpy thumpy beat sounds too commercial for my taste.
:(

06. HOT BIKINI GIRL / LOL [SS]
I'll stick with Lady Energy's version. This one doesn't sing to me.
:(

07. LADY TAXI DRIVER / J-STARK [DMI]
More Italo melodies from DELTA. They really stepping up as my favorite label. Songs like these that keep me interested in the series.
8)

08. 79 / STEPHY MARTIN [DIMA]
This one is alright. I hope she really belts out those lungs somewhere in the song. I like the synth inserts during the riff.
:)

09. YOU ARE NOT ALONE / PAUL HARRIS [DMI]
Ooowee! That pure Italo sound. The kind of Track Iventi' D Azzurro would jump on to chart on their Hi Energy charts back in the day. Paul Harris has perfect Italo vocals.
8)

10. FORTUNE TELLER / DEE DEE WONDER [HRG]
Another preview with contrasting melodies. It sounds aggressive in the synth riff, but lowers a bit a notch in the chorus. Need to hear more to decide.
:|

11. KISS ME ALL THE NIGHT / BABY GOLD [HRG]
I love the synth riff, but the samey sounding chorus kinda ruins the atmosphere. Sounded decent for now.
:)

12. PRINCE OF THE NIGHT / LEO RIVER [GGM]
This preview sounds very powerful. hope the song's length lives up to this preview's power.
:D

13. THE MEN BURNING WILD / CHAI [SS]
The best part about Chai's songs are still his vocals. Decent preview, I just hope that awful music in the youtube preview intro is not this song's intro as well. Undecided for now.
:|

14. WICKED GAME / MILK & COFEEA [3B]
I'm not really feeling this.
:(

15. GOT THE POWER / FASTWAY [SCP]
What a surprise. Did anyone else catch the melody of Marc Almond's "Tears Run Rings" in the synth riff? This could be my favourit Fastway track in a long TIME.

GGM is impressive this time round, both Leo River and Kaioh are the powerhouse males of the label and the previews of both their tracks are awesome.

Other previews that are pretty good too :

You Are Not Alone (I like what I hear but is it the new "Crazy Information"? Let's see)

Got The Power

The Hi-NRG tracks have fairly interesting melodies too.
You and me like a fire tonight
Me and you 2 guardian angels
Now I feel your touch into my heart
A ray of sun~

I almost get the impression that the synth riff of "kiss Me All Night" - Baby Gold belongs to "Fortune Teller" and vica versa. The two songs sound so contrasting in melody.

I wish Hi-NRG Attack would try a new drum sample. Remember Mara Nell's-Natural Girl from Euromach 15? I love that drum sample.

I think they stuck on the same synth riff and chorus melody for the female tracks. The last really great HRG Attack female tracks were on SEB 233. The ones from Michelle Rose and Jee Bee.

"Girl In The Night" on 234, was somewhat rehashing the Jee Bee melody, but ti was still sorta fresh. Now that melody is becoming old.

They should look at songs from their older catalogs and maybe try bringing those back.

It's funny, but the HRG Attack male tracks still sound fresh, so I'm sure they can mix it up a bit for the girls too.

223 had good female tracks, and you're right, 233 had great tracks! I'd like for the 2006-2009 female sound to come back to Hi-NRG Attack.

Exactly, and in some male tracks too (the ones that got sold as singles / not on SEB). Their 233's tracks are nothing special to me.

Girl In The Night was one of the best and it escaped that formula they were following just a little, both in vocals and instrumental. Well, I doubt they'll try something from the past again since one of their characteristics is innovation - for good or evil - we're stuck to that now.

That's my feeling too, I got a little disappointed with the lack of HRG male tracks in this new album.

now for my review~~
