More or less the legnths I figured. SCP have the shortest songs, like always. The ones I'm lokking forward run into the 5:00 min mark, so the cd looks even more promising. 5 Stars to Dave for adding that extra :30 seconds.
6:00 mins for Cherry's song. Even the song length is old school.

I hadda laugh at 4:59 for Luke's song. Just say 5:00 mins :P

I feel the track lengths justify my $25. I'm happy that Lolita is at least at the 4 min. mark this time.

The songs that matter have decent song lengths, this will be good. No major complaints with song length this time. 8)

Calm down

I visit some restaurant once per year or two years, and it doesn't mean I'm there a regular customer or I will be...

Such meaningful comparison about "back".

Say it after he will sign each song on the next ten volumes, not one after huge break. 8)

Why not just let people be happy about this? >_>

I for one, am totally thrilled to hear a production written by Sandro...even if it just one more time. He injects pure bliss into my ears

★ I'm loving all his songs in 239. Bratt's such an innovator, he always goes his own way, and once the rest of the producers see it's safe... they follow his lead.

ー Either way can you say... Rider of the Sky killer track! hell yeah!! Image ♫
If you haven't listened to "Rock n Roll Emulation" by Nando feat. The Prophet, you should. That's probably the closest you'll have The Prophet being on eurobeat. As much as I love the HT vulgarities, I think the worse word we've heard in eurobeat is "shit" unless you count what I think is "fuck me" from Vicious V.'s "Break Me Down"...

As usually I'm realistic, not pessimistic. Sure, it's nice return, but for him how much percent of chance it could be longer, only even tiny engagement hmmm... See Giordano Foglia, unofficially that's not his big return. They all are happy to meet and compose once, twice together and... Time will tell. Cheers :)

I know I'm late on critiquing the previews here for Super Eurobeat Volume 239, but I figured I'd give this one my personal analysis just now. I do agree with Mindsweeper though that nearly half of those tracks have drums that are well low in the mix. Another thing I'd like to point out is that everything in this compilation sounds a little too reverberated which kinda drowns out the energy for most tracks sadly.

Anyways here's my go at reviewing this, ratings might change once I hear the full versions:

1. Restarted Tonight - Dave Rodgers
Rating: B
Not too crazy about the synth stab here...but the other parts of the song and especially Dave Rodgers' powerful vocals surely make this one worth listening!

2. Made For Love - Lolita
Rating: D+
I've heard much, MUCH better from a Lolita song. I mean don't get me wrong, her vocals still sound good but the arrangement here really does not satisfy my tastes at all...

3. We Rock Them All - Dejo & Chai
Rating: B+
Very powerful song with nice synth stabs! It would be much better if it weren't for the lackluster mixing on the drums though.

4. Made Out Of Fire - Seastar
Rating: C+
Great singing, but the instrumental seems very out of tact and reverberated.

5. Never Again - Cherry
Rating: A
Ohh yes, a flashback to late 90s Delta!!! Loving the chorus, the vocals and the instrumental is powerful enough to make a solid eurobeat track. Can't wait for the full version!

6. Sexy Gaucho - Franz Tornado
Rating: B+
This is totally the Franz Tornado we all know and love here, the super energetic melodies and the crazy lyrics are a total fan favorite here and it's evident in this catchy, energy filled track. More instrumentation in the stab though would be nice as it kinda seems out of place from the rest of the song.

7. Love Love Love - Norma Sheffield
Rating: B+
This one is definitely one of the better Norma tracks in my book. The smooth attitude here is done correctly here...although the vocal mixing sounds a little raw and low in volume.

8. Firebird - Dream Fighters
Rating: B-
Positive potential and good melodies, but the vocals sound slightly dull and the instrumental sounds somewhat distant.

9. Bed Girl - Cindy
Rating: F
The vocalist has little to no power on this one, and the instrumental seems SERIOUSLY out of place and very cheaply done. Next preview, please...!

10. Touchdown - Luke
Rating: B
Very catchy, nice and fast. Can't really say much about it though, then again I'd have to hear the full version.

11. Let Me Fly On Tokyo Night - J.3 Benz
Rating: D
Where's the energy?! Also why are the vocals so low?! Come on, pump up the power guys...!!!!

12. Temple Of Desire - Manuel
Rating: A
Manuel's vocals make this track an excellent one to rock too! A little more kick in the drums and this would be a winner!

13. Babe I Know - F.C.F.
Rating: C+
Kinda average. Nice powerful track, but the vocals sound a little harshly done and it almost sounded like too many takes were mixed. Background vocals sound a little competing even.

14. Power Fighter - Bon
Rating: S+
OHH HELL YES!!! JUMP, JUMP, JUMP!!!! This track is a total winner so far!!!

15. Go Kooky Go - Bamboo Bimbo
Rating: A-
You guys might beg to differ but, I actually like this track!! It certainly reminds me of the A-Beat Sisters songs from the late 90s. However the chorus can sound slightly cluttered, especially with the "GO!" shouts.

Overall Rating: C+
Fair collection of tracks, but as I've stated befoee, Avex Trax's mixing on this kinda spoils the compilation a bit.
