Kinda doubt Matteo is gonna return since he's so heavily involved in theater these past few years!xiao wrote:Ohh Holy Kenneth J Laszo in the sky, please let this be the return of Matteo Setti in Night Flight to Tokyo on a hover-craft Mercedes Benz please! m(_ _)mpara_rigby wrote:11. ...on a GoGo's [produced by Kaioh] hover-craft that is.

Edit: It could be a pun on the initials in Japanese though... J.3 could be pronounced as "Jay-san" as in Jason. Racking up my memory from head to toes, I seldom remember any SEB artist with a similar alias. hrmm... also it could be a girl. J.3 could be pronounced as Jay-mi - Jaime - Jamey - Jamie.
J-San, Jason, Jaysen, Jaime...?? Nothing comes up on the olde noggin'
I wish he did though. I love his voice, and he is the only artist from A-Beat-C label whose songs are all excellent as heck. I would really like to see what Sun Fire can do for him, but I think I dream too much.para_rigby wrote:Kinda doubt Matteo is gonna return since he's so heavily involved in theater these past few years!xiao wrote:Ohh Holy Kenneth J Laszo in the sky, please let this be the return of Matteo Setti in Night Flight to Tokyo on a hover-craft Mercedes Benz please! m(_ _)mpara_rigby wrote:11. I honestly think Seastar is the new vocalist SCP introduced, the one with short blonde hair As for J.3 Benz, it may be Dima

So based on song titles and artists.
01. RESTARTED TONIGHT / DAVE RODGERS
Been waiting for this master's return for a while. Hope that Honeymoon put some fuel back into his soul.
02. MADE FOR LOVE / LOLITA
wasn't too thrilled with her on vol. 238. Hopefully this has more Eurobeat NRG?
03. WE ROCK'EM ALL / DEJO&CHAI
The last Chai song was so so. Let's see how he does on duet with D-Essex; himself.
04. MADE OUT OF FIRE / SEASTAR
SCP throws a lot of new aliases at us. I like that. Hope this one is good?
05. NEVER AGAIN / CHERRY
Cherry's back and on fire! The title gives me Romantic Aishu vibes.
06. SEXY GAUCHO / FRANZ TORNADO
Honestly? I didn't go nuts over "Blat The Trumpet". So I'm putting all my chips on "Sexy Gaucho".
07. LOVE LOVE LOVE / NORMA SHEFFIELD
I've always been a fan of Norma's songs. I just wish she would do something alongside "Your Love Is Like Lightning" more often.
08. FIREBIRD / DREAM FIGHTERS
This one has Aggressive high NRG written all over by that title alone. Sounds very promising.
09. BED GIRL / CINDY
I love HRG Attacks naughty themed songs. Always have. Always will.
10. TOUCHDOWN / LUKE
Delta has easily been my favorite label these last few cds. I'm Glad; "Turbo Disco", Luke is back
11. LET ME FLY ON TOKYO NIGHT / J.3 BENZ
very odd alias. What does the 3 stand for? SCP don't really do Tokyo themed songs, Nor does DELTA. Dima hasn't given us new aliases in a while either. Definitely my most anticipated track here for curiosity alone.
12. TEMPLE OF DESIRE / MANUEL
Manuel is busy now a days. Honestly I'm getting a little tired of his brand of chaotic melodies.
13. BABE I KNOW / F.C.F
This one sounded good on Juno.
14. POWER FIGHTER / BON
Been with Bonini since he started way back on Stil Novo. Seems all his songs are top of their game.
15. GO KOOKY GO / BAMBOO BIMBO
I'm really not too crazy over this artist. Then there is the fact that his songs are always too short to get into. I hope this is his first full legnth extended, since it closes out the CD?

Actually, gaucho is a type of cowboy that exists in the regions of Uruguay, Southern Brazil and Argentina. They enjoy the culture of raising and eating plenty of meat (asado) and riding horses and living in estacias (big manors in the countryside). The term is used esclusivley for those regions, since the gaucho culture is pretty huge influence to those countries (one being the start of Tango music started by the gauchos of Uruguay and Argentina).xiao wrote:Baires slang for cowboy ☆WNight wrote:What's a Gaucho?
@ Crockett: oooh! Thank yous ~ good to know there's specials with mu-mo!
It is not just an Argentine word AT ALL. It gets more attention only because it is bigger than Uruguay and the southern part of Brazil which has gauchos and a strong european influence.
Also the correct word instead of "Baires" slang is "Rioplatense" Spanish, meaning the dialect of Spanish which is spoken which many people say sounds like an Italian person speaking spanish, which is the dialect of spanish used ONLY in Buenos Aires, yet spoken in the entire country of Uruguay. The rest of Argentina does not speak rioplatense.
I'm not trying to sound bitchy, I'm just speaking from experience as a 2nd generation from that region
........ like comparing apples to oranges...gauchos don't even exist in Mexico, nor any other country except the regions mentioned above lol. It wouldn't surprise me to think some people who don't know the region to think we eat salsa and tacos and tequilla, instead of our typical meals of that region being pasta, breads and meats, cheeses, wine and grappa. We don't wear those sombreros or have mariachi bands, but dance the tango with the accordion, and have more in common with the cultures of Italy, Spain, and Portugal than the other surrounding countries lolpara_rigby wrote: 06. Anyway, that tracklist is getting me caliente! Especially the Lolita track!
I wonder what the code name for J. 3 Benz could mean??? That name making me feel a resemblence to "Jellybean Benitez".....
I'm also guessing "Seastar" to be an SCP track sung by Hotblade under a new alias. It's esoteric meaning is quite something. shhhh....

Bolivia couldn't be any more different lolxiao wrote: So I thought the word was just native to Argentina. I've heard Bolivia is very similar too... I really think this track's gonna have that classic guitar feel to it.
Over 80% of Argentina, Uruguay, and South Brazil are of caucasian decent (mostly Italians and Spanish), while for sothern Brazil it is Portuguese and Germans, while Bolivia is over 90% aboriginal decent. The cultures are completely different

There are a few others of us on here who comment regularilyxiao wrote:hahaha, a lot similar to Mexico I gather! Blame my uncle for spreading false facts ~ My grandpa & uncle were raised in Barcelona, but I was born in Texas and raised in Mexico. xD Although the traditional Bolivian songs I've heard sound a lot like the stuff at my uncle's wedding... maybe they hired some gauchos from La Paz?synthjunkie wrote:Bolivia couldn't be any more different lol
