Hi guys,

Which equalizer are you using to listening to Eurobeat ?
Discogs reference Eurobeat as Electronic
avex track on iTunes as Dance
MusicBee as Pop

I'm using Techno, the voice look really clear, and you ?

Flat. Always. If you need to EQ a song, that means that the song is very badly produced. Or you need better audio equipment. One or the other.

I'm guessing you mean; that you just don't use the equalizer? I don't either, but you don't set it to flat. That would sound horrible. :?

Not using an equalizer means that no sound is altered. An equalizer does that: change how the sound sounds (more bass, more middle, more treble, etc). So, if you need to use an equlizer for your music to sound more natural, like I said, there is a producer issue OR your audio equipment is cheap.

I have a Audio-Technica ATH-M50x like xiao mentionned in his "best DJ cans" (although they are dubbed a studio pair). They have a very good but also neutral sound. They cost me 200$CAD in July 2015.

I just recently picked up "Brainwavz Replacement Memory Foam Earpads" for my ATH-M50xs. Highly recommend this upgrade.

When I'm in my apartment at home I usually use my expensive Genelec studio monitors for most Music listening including Eurobeat.
Good thing is their flat from what I can tell, but produce a very clear sound, great when you produce Music and mix audio, and that's what they made for.
Sometimes though if I'm somewhere else my jbl charge 2 plus Bluetooth speaker works well for listening to Music from my phone, and at the moment I got 7 gigs of eurobeat saved on there.

Oh wow, never knew you guys also go the ATH-M50x. :') I also have a SynQ HPS-2 which is sometimes use. And a Xbox One Stereo Gaming Headset, which isn't bad at all! I also have some other headphones, but they're broken. :( Got a broken wire in the headband as well as broken drivers for the Xone XD-53, a Pioneer HDJ-1000 with a snapped headband, American Audio HP-550 which I don't remember why I don't use anymore (besides crappy sound). If I walk around, I tend to wear Sennheiser RS-119 II because they're wireless. :P

Overall, the ATH-M50x is definitely one of my favorites! :D

No wonder you guys didn't collect vinyl. You spent it all on earphones :!:

My Technics turntables were only $400 a piece back in the day. I don't think I'd ever spend $200 on earphones. Unless the bands actually popped out via virtual reality and played the music live in front of me. :P
