I don't know if you guys already know that but CDJapan launched their proxy service.
You can even request products.

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/agency/yahoo/s ... r%27s+nest

They even ship stuff like Raver's Nest for dirt cheap! Why couldn't they do that earlier ;_;

When you're doing CDJapan's proxy shopping. Make sure you have enough money. They add me additional fee cause the CD was in backorder...

Judging by Rain's screenshot, buying a Raver's Nest volume would cost you...
Item: 1543yen
Service fee: 500yen
Standard fee: 250 yen
Procurement fee: 980 yen
Reg. Air Mail Fee: 410 yen
= 3683yen (33$US, 29.50 euros, 25.46 pounds, 44.73$CAD)

Service fee: 10% of order, or 500yen flat if order is less than 5000yen
Standard fee: Packaging fees and stuff. Usually 500yen / order.
Procurement fees: Shipping within' Japan, bank fees, etc is added up here.
Shipping overseas: Self-explanatory.

So, no, CDJapan is not a dirt cheap forwarder. It might be a little less expensive but not cheap.
I invite anyone serious about forwarding to contact me so I can forward (*ahem*) you to my personal forwarder in Japan who charges a max of 20$US per order (usually only something like 5$ for a single CD/order from a single store - to get to 20$, you need to be stretching it out a whole bunch).

EDIT

Even if you buy a used 400yen copy, it'll be something like 2540yen... Still expensive. Tbh, while at it, get a new copy.

I did not know about the extra fees but it's a bit cheaper than what OtakuRepublic is charging right now.

//Edit

When I looked on Yahoo Auction there was a link for oversea customer forwarding them to buyee.
Since I already have a tenso account, I quickly registerated there (you quick-register with Tenso) and ordered TEB 9 + 10 for around 25€.
The shipping plan I selected was the lowest one, if I would've picked the most expensive one then the package would've costed me around 30€.

So I think I'm gonna get my stuff from there. It's almost the original price and the fee they want is very low (300 Yen?)

Tenso is good if you want to do things by yourself, using YOUR credit card, etc AND you don't mind handling an ID to a foreign company. I don't want to, so, if I want to save cash on various fees, I have to go with Forza. The only thing about him is, yes, you have to wait around for him to ship. Also, he offers you to get stuff at events, he goes to all major events including Comiket, M3 and both Spring and Fall Reitaisai. So, I got TEB 15 (1000yen), Digital Wing's Hanatan Best (1000yen), Sound Holic's Best 10th Anniversary Compilation (1000yen) and new work 地霊 -Chirei- (1000yen) for 40$US shipped (Air Mail). As you can see, it's 4000yen (~37$US) so there is a max of 3$ and, in this, his commission is included. So, yeah.

Of course, if you want speed over everything, a normal service such as Tenso, CDJapan's proxy shipping, Otacrap, etc is your best bet. If you are willing to wait and save money, Forza's just the best.

I think it's not any worse than buying stuff from amazon or ebay. buyee actually offers PayPal and other payments too. I was tempted to buy the stuff over tenso (weeks before) first but they only had a credit card where buyee has more.

What I wanted to emphasise on, is that you have to send an ID (driver's licence, passport), etc to a foreign company. I don't want to risk the identity theft and a credit card is cancelled after a simple phone call.

That might be true but your chances to lose something is infinitesimal, basically not existent.
And if you are that unlucky and people steal your information then you can still reverse all the payments, press charges and return your losses.
There are millions of people using PayPal and you have to send your ID there too.

I don't wanna argue about if you should order it from here or there, all I wanted to tell is that buyee offers good stuff and has nice payment methods.
You don't necessarily have to register with tenso there, they just offer that.

For credit card, sure. ID theft is a whole other story. Also, fyi, you don't need to send anything to PayPal when you create an account solely to pay or even receive money. You need to send info (minus shipping/billing info and CC) only if you want to link your PayPal and bank account. ;)

Well I can't generate money from somewhere on my PayPal that's why I use it to take the amount from my bank account and send it via paypal.
But the topic is derailing if we keep on arguing about stuff like that.

Long story short:
buyee.jp is definitely worth checking out, cdjpapan has a proxy service charging high fees and otakurepublic is still damn pricy.

A quick update on my order from buyee.
It seems like they are not any cheaper.

While I've completed the ordering process you still have to pay again for shipping it from them to you which added another 26€ on the list so I wouldn't recommend buyee either.

Either way I hope there will soon be a reasonable priced proxy service or the shops will ship oversea where I honestly not know why they don't do it already.
