* V6 - Be Yourself! (cover of "Kingdom Of Rock" by Dave Rodgers) Note: The "New Album Mix" on V6's "A Jack In The Box", is NOT a cover of Kingdom of Rock. Only the single is (and the single is also featured on their Best of compilation "Very Best" (released in 2004).
* V6 - Music For The People (cover of... well... track of the same name by Dave Rodgers)
* V6 - Take Me Higher (cover of... goddamn, still Dave Rodgers)
* V6 - Made In Japan (...)

Talking of Dream, they did a cover "King & Queen" which is super amazing. Also. Night Of Fire. Because.

Talking of Night Of Fire, Mayumi Morinaga also did a cover of Dream's Night Of Fire in a J-Trance style.

Oh, snap~! I love these things. EUROBEAT FLASH has a bunch of more obscure J-pop artists doing the thing with Eurobeat tracks.

Since we're talking MAX, check out this AWESOME remix of Gianni Coraini's "STRANGER IN THE NIGHT".

This is a J-pop cover of the GO GO GIRLS / GIMME THE COUNT:

Not strictly Eurobeat but a j-pop artist doing a Hi-NRG eurodance tune:

I like the first video because it proves beyond a shade of doubt that you can, in fact, sing and dance to Eurobeat on stage. It's doable. Some people act like it's impossible; it really isn't.

Dude, I totally forgot Hinoi Team!

ALL of their songs are covers of original italian euro tracks except one, King Kong, which is, oddly, a E-Rotic cover (and probably one of their less NSFW work). There's also "Aishiteru" by Hinoi Team still that remains a mystery. It was written by Hinoky Team, if you are knowledgeable about the first 100 volumes of SEB, was a common credit under A-Beat-C; probably a team of writers. The close ressemblance of the two names might confuse a lot of people and most could think of it as a typo, but it's not. It's one of the only songs few new for the album "Super Euro Party" released in 2006; most of the album being a collection of their 4 singles (and B-Sides).

List of their songs:
- Ike Ike (Original: Tri-Stars)
- Sing Na Na Na (Original: Doki Doki)
- Night Of Fire (Dream Version) (With Korikki)
- Night Of Fire (Niko English Version) (Korikki only, somehow released as a B-Side on the NoF single on a Hinoi team release)
- Play With The Numbers (Original: Domino)
- Yeah! (Original: Christine)
- Super Euro Flash (Original: Franz "V.I.P." Tornado & Bazooka "T.C.V." Girl)
- Sticky Tricky And Bang (Original: Sticky Tricky And Bang)
- On My Own (Original: Donna)
- Hey Mr. DJ (Original: Domino)
- Everybody Dance (Original: Lolita)
- Emoticons (Original: Christine (Unreleased))
- Jam Jam Jam (Original: Kiki & Kika)
- Aishiteru (Original: ???)
- Just For Me (Original: Vivi)
- Now And Forever (Original: Valery Scott)
- Summertime (Original: Jee Bee)
- I'm Gonna Carry On (Original: Nuage)
- Dancin' & Dreamin' (Original Irene (as "Dancin' Baby"))
- Please Forgive Me (Original: Cherry)
- Merry Xmas To The World (Original: A-Beat-C All Stars)

J-Pop acts who recorded several own albums, not covers, as so called Eurobeat, Hi-NRG, Dance, Disco. Known exclusively only in the japanese deepness of their club culture, probably till nowadays. The music is hard to find.

Aliases:

Marbella

Satoko

Shiho.

J-Pop covers of Eurobeat expressed the hype and appreciation towards international, italian Eurobeat. Local versions of good imported music, builded on fame and renown of foreign music.

This was and still is two-way relationship, whoever doesn't accept it, as we say in Poland, has bad luck.

FWIW, the thing I like about J-Eurobeat from back in the day was it represented the high popularity of Eurobeat at the time. Velfarre was still open, Club Maharaja was still doing Eurobeat and Para Para events, and Eurobeat enjoyed a period of high recognition and power in Japanese culture.

Nothing makes me happier than to see a huge crowd of people turning out to watch and listen to Eurobeat being performed live.
