Caria Family

Post by johnjohnjohnnycake » 17 Nov 2017, 08:02

I know this topic is a little irrelevant, but hear me out. I am a huge fan of the Caria family ( at least what we know of it) and I was just wondering, where'd Giacomo go? He only made two confirmed songs a long time ago, as opposed to his father's work which consisted of 100+ songs. I appreciate that Giacomo inherited the voice of Gino, but why isn't he going further in SEB?

Gino Caria 13 years work on music:

Written 188 songs for every known at those times record companies.

Sung 177 songs for every known at those times record companies.

Promoted and involved 3 famous until today vocalists and himself.

Status: basing on experiences and explorations, highly probable that among male artists/producers, after Dave Rodgers the most meritorious and remembered.

This question would be refer to every singer appeared in 2000's.

Because when you enter any name of these persons to Google or Discogs, you can find nothing, or that he/she belongs to some band, group or performs solo.

All of them had and still have own career and were hired to Eurobeat to refresh the discography for a while.

Thus, what I wrote recently in other topic, since over a dozen years we don't have neither new really boost star.

Totally opposite situation to older generation, which all career devoted Italo Disco and Eurobeat.

right, kinda like Federico Pasquini, he belongs to 2 bands, and finding that information was hard. however, i can't find squat for Giacomo, or anyone else for the matter.

Lots of people only record one or two songs for a eurobeat label before calling it quits. It's likely Giacomo either had a marginal experience recording with A-Beat C in the mid-2000s or just has different personal life ambitions. I wouldn't be surprised if he was just pressured into singing his two songs to fill in the void left by his father's death in 1997.

These couple months were exactly already 1 year ago to be detailed...

In the meanwhile Federico Pasquini released his first own vinyl album.

Any more comments needed why 2000's Eurobeat artists have own life outside SEB ? :D

No, I'm not saying they should dedicate their lives to just SEB, I mean the old generation didn't do that entirely, but I like the new voices carrying on the tradition and I think they should at the very least partake in it once in a while.

haha ~ no prob :D yeah hopefully we get to see more of the Caria family in future SEB albums ..

Who knows maybe Giacomo has a son or nephews interested in music?Image
God, i hope that happens too. Eurobeat CANNOT lose that classic, aggressive, meaty, masculine, italian tone that Gino and his son brought!

I fully agree. This kind of vocal style is what inspires me the most for my own vocal style and this legacy needs to be carried on!

Don't forget that generally the singer isn't judged how he fits to an underground fast music...

As an actor. Nobody judges your extreme stunt skills of escaping from a burning building in movie, but basic as you can express emotions and put yourself as some character. :)

Every well known Eurobeat vocalist like Gino Caria was experienced in singing since the middle of 80's.

If somebody doesn't know the full discography, songs performed in lower, average tempo, it's a bit strange to hail a man gifted an outstanding color, tone of voice basing on faster Eurobeat.

In case of Gino Caria there is no doubts obviously.
