That's why Italo disco artists are still putting on live shows/mini-concerts on a local level around Italy & France. Support live-music ! ♬

To sell the tickets on concert you have to be pretty known and before sell your record...

Not being an invented studio alias... The Eurobeat specifics since many years.

★ To put on a live-show and gather a following .. all you have to do is make good music & stand in front of a crowd:grin:
You wanted to cover expenses of a professional musician.

Any niche live show is possible, however this would not keep going either the career development, increasing the popularity, nor sale the songs.

And it seems still pointless for Eurobeat that has not stage artists.

I am glad you said this. I knew y'all were cool people.

I'm sick of people acting like capitalism is the coolest and best thing ever. It's actually harmful, and we SHOULD be able to have our basic needs tended to as you said.

Our society should, in fact, be more egalitarian and open-handed

I bet Lebon is crying tears that the non-stop mixes sell the best :D

The general trend with lesser sales for each and each album is also partially the fault of music streaming services.
People don't buy physical discs or even mp3s anymore because they can have it all with just around $10 a month.
(Sometimes even for free when it comes bundled with a new phone and a mobile plan)

Is there any information for sold cds before Vol. 190?

Actually, non-stop mixed albums sell lesser than extended releases except for 00x albums. See 235 and 245.

Oricon chart offers previous charts and sales data for members only(1,026yen per a month). If anybody wants to know how many copies SEB used to sell I'll post them on this forum...

I was talking about them, during the releases of SEB people might have picked up that the ones ending with zeroes are non-stops and always waited for them to come out. Non-Stops which were in between didn't get picked up that much.

If you have access to data earlier than 190 I'm sure everyone here would like to take a look on them.

You're not funny. And, yeah, like vinyl said, it seems to be the case only for the "best of *insert year here*" and xx0 comps. The other mixes sold like crap. I'm actually curious to see how 213, 216 and 219 sold over the extended versions (their two discs prior).

But yeah, sales were even grimmer for 235 and 225 compared to the extended before it. Not surprised. Nobody asked for them.

Thanks for digging up that info.

Oh, and, btw... there's info for older albums, but it's only Oricon chart. SEB 100 Limited booklet included some Oricon chart positions for some SEB albums:

It started with Vol.1 but only SEB 30 onward have data. And some after that don't; probably because said number drops below 100. So, yeah, only xx0 made business sense. Since the beginning.
