Even the version on SEB 34 is shorter than the original extended, because some stuff was cut out from the extended on vinyl, which was more than 7 minutes.
Why call "Extended" a song which isn't extended ?

I know by Bratt that he "extended" some of his techno songs, cuz when he creates it, it cames in 3:xx-4:xx long. Same stuff happened with early Delta songs.Lebon14 wrote: ↑26 Feb 2018, 23:37WTF did I just read.
Long to short is easier to do than the other way around. I've never seen this way of doing things... EVER. It's like saying that these vinyl published with Extended Mixes made teh Radio Cuts that appears on the B-Side before they made the A-Side. Like, no. Just no.
You can hear a lot of this songs are just repetition with instrumental cuts. Just a few have new stuff after the 3:30 (2 full rounds for most of the songs) mark.
Re: Why call "Extended" a song which isn't extended ?
Back at the subject at end.
The problem here is not "how it's produced", "is extended necessary" or your listening preferences. The issue is passing off a song as something that is not. It's easy to tell when it's in a mix because you can just shrug it off coz you know it's not exactly "extended". If "Extended" means the longest version of the song, I think you should live up to the name of just don't use any mix suffixes.

McBazooka touched on a key point, that most artists originally record an Album version, then mix the Extended, Club, Radio, etc from there.
Historically, song naming has been more important to fans than producers.
Semantics aside, the mix is almost perfect!

Recochoku Selling the Euromach one, in extended, 04:48, also in the vinyl (4:48)
Juno selling the version used on Joy ParaPara DVD, I don't know where did they found it.
These two are named "Extended"

This is exactly the reason I bought all the Time and AbeatC vinyls back in the day. SEB are the biggest offenders of destroying an Extended. but FUCK YOU AVEX becuase you couln't fool the real die hard collectors. Anyway, they also screwed with the original versions of songs from HRG Attack on those Eurobeat Flash albums. They changed the whole synth sound. Anyway, that's all I'm gonna say, before I really start getting upset.
These classics were raped on SEB cds.
Mega NRG Man - Dog Eat Dog
Frank Torpedo - Everybody's Dancing
Mike Hammer - Starfighter
De Niro - Out Of Control

This was the prime exemple I had in mind. I talked to Stefano about it and he completely ignored it. I seriously don't know what's going on.
Another flagrant exemple is the upcoming "Rockin' Dome" by Van T.K. Eurobeat Kudos will be selling an edit with (extended) in the name. According to the Eurobeat Catalog, the extended is 4:50 and is present on DOUB 1120. But, Eurobeat Kudos sells an edit just shy of 4 minutes (3:50) and still names it an extended. However, most songs that will be sold on Eurobeat Kudos Vol.9+ will really be the longest version available.

But, like Babyface, the version on Juno is the clearer one, higher pitch, like Touch Me Baby from Doctor Strange. And with more lyrics. Recochoku it's the extended version of the modified version for Euromach.Lebon14 wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 07:37This was the prime exemple I had in mind. Now I'm kind sad and disappointed on this one, the Rockin' Dome it's just the same edit used on SEB Euromach SCP Collection.
The Vinyl one is this
A1 –Van T.K. Rockin' Dome (Extended Mix) 4:50
And I don't think it's Stefano/SCP fault. They just ripped the tapes and mastered it. I don't think if he remembers the version used on Vinyls. They don't name it "extended".
Can you give me a example? I didn't noticed that.

I think it's just the same synths BUT different masterings.
