Hi, guys! For this last year I've been planning / working on an original eurobeat project.
Finally I can announce that my first single under the alias Super!NOVA (featuring singer "Blue Cherry") is released today. I wrote the song in 2011, recorded it in 2012 and finally produced it last year. It is the first single from our upcoming work together, named "LILITH" (which will be released during next autumn). I hope you guys enjoy and can give some constructive feedback

Thank you! Mastering is still hard for me. I used Maximus (a plugin included in FL Studio). I actually got a mastering preset in that plugin and tweaked it a little bit

This is well produced. You use an interesting chord progression in the verse, or at least use the bass line to pick out notes other than the root. The chord progression in the chorus and sabi are more standard eurobeat. It's interesting you use a long release on the sabi synth, rather than sustaining it.
At a few points in the song there's a sound which sounds like an IM tone or similar. Is that intentional or did that creep in accidentally when bouncing the final mix?

Thank you dalziel for your feedback. About the chord progression, I've always kept the root note on the bass.
About the release/sustain, different synths were layered. Some of them were sustained, some of them had a shorter release. When you listen to all the synths layered, it gets the impression of a longer release.
By the way, I don't undertand the part about the IM tone, I don't know what kind of sound are you referring to, I'm sorry. Would you mind explaining it to me? Thank you very much again!

Sorry for the delayed reply.Akira wrote:By the way, I don't undertand the part about the IM tone, I don't know what kind of sound are you referring to, I'm sorry. Would you mind explaining it to me? Thank you very much again!
By "IM tone" I mean the kind of short, discrete sound used on an instant messenger or chat application that informs you of a new message.
I can hear it most clearly after the words "just come tonight". It's also audible at the end of the line "oh, baby come tonight". The same sound is heard in the same place every time these lines appear in the song.
Here's a tiny clip from your song where I can hear this sound. I think it's quite noticeable: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1fWo1FuZNeH
