Post by Densetsu13 » 29 Dec 2008, 23:26

Happy Holidays from Montreal everyone! Below you will find a batch of refilms recently done by myself and my boyfriend Francis.

A very special thanks to Dom and Jim of TWO★HEARTS for providing excellent Audio and Video editing. Please look forward to some new dances coming from them soon as well!

Please comment after viewing in regards to any aspect! I always strive to improve and greatly appreciate all of your input.

Thought I'd post these all up! Alex~hime, feel free to repost these wherever you want :) As usual (nowadays anyways), LQ and HQ versions available. I would suggest the HQ ones if possible, to see the minor details that are in the dances.

It's always a pleasure to see skillful dancing :D Neither does it hurt that you're clearly enjoying yourself. I think I've previously watched some of your videos somewhere...

Way too few guys are into europara anyway, or at least that I haven't come across many. In my country (Finland), most men prefer techno and trance :? I've been dreaming of forming a group for years but I guess I'll just have to keep dreaming... Or maybe I should move to Chile?

haha Chile definitely does not have a lack of paralists ;P

Thank you for the compliment! Just because there aren't many others doesn't mean you can't dance for fun yourself! That's what I've been doing for years, believe me when I say there's barely any paralists here as well.

Epic quote.

But seriously , Eurobeat seems a hard genre to mix. I wonder how The Boss does it actually...

You're definitely right. That's what I've been doing, too. And overall, it's not that bad here. We do have a circle with three different skill level groups every week and two more in another city. I should just make more videos myself but I want to do them outside in a good weather and it's still many months before we'll get one... :???:

By the way, I was wondering where you've learnt all those choreographies that I've thought were only available on dvds that are not sold anywhere?

Right you are, most of these choreographies don't make it to commercial releases and usually get released to club vids that aren't sold anywhere and are given out at the club event itself. On top of that some choreographies don't even make it to club videos at all and are only ever taught as a lesson at the club event itself.

Luckily I now have connections and have access to a lot of these choreographies. Considering I can not share this media and knowing most people don't have access to it I, and the others in Disco NRG, try our best to do re-films so paralists around the world can at least keep up with what's going on in Japan.

I hope this answers your question :)

Sounds fair. It's very nice of you to go through the trouble for the rest of us :) It's important for the global community to get as much new material as possible, so that we have something else than just Night of Fire and Try Me to choose between :D

Not to mention that, without seeing the originals, I bet your versions are better, especially judging by the direction the "professional" dancers have been going recently... Of course it's great to be able to buy dvds and have them on your shelf but that's not always possible.

You flatter me, considering I am simply emulating what the original choreographers intended :x .

I hope you have seen the latest Chouzen Para DVD. avex is stepping up and making quality commercial vids again :)

Totally ! I mean the dancers in Chozen I Love Dance are just awesome !
Of course they all come from 9LoveJ or SEF ... which is not suprising from Avex.
Well , if Avex tries get new people into the scene , it makes Chozen ParaPara (the first) ... And thats not cool D:

But still UFOPOLI is right , DiscoNRG's videos are all great ! No question about it ! :)

You mean this one?

I've been eyeing it but so far left it there because our circle leaders have forewarned us against anything with the word "chozen" on it (except for Gazen Final, of course). Not that they always have to be right, though. I'll ask for their opinion on this one today and if it's not particularly crushing, put it onto the list. Thanks for the tip! The timing's good also in that respect that I was just going to order 193-4 anyway.

From the screenshots alone you might notice that it looks to be A+ quality. Also like Will mentioned, the majority of the dancers are from SEF or 9LoveJ so you can't go wrong 8)

You're right, it seems very promising indeed. There, now it's scheduled for purchase :D It's great to know the production values are picking up again. Now we'd just need the next boom... Fortunately though, in other countries, fashions don't pass in and out all that fast.
