I don't know about the other songs... but I'd stay away from velfarre 2006, it appears to be an incomplete upload =\

velfarre 2006 works just fine for me - you sure your download simply didn't cut out?

Can someone show me the process or the steps to download the songs?
You can hate me but you know you have quality issues =p

First up, ya gotta be using IE. Mozilla doesn't work (at least, didn't for me). Can't vouch for any other browsers.

First up, go to Mu-mo's Music site.

http://music.mu-mo.net/genre/?genre=&subgenre=9

Go to the album you want to buy from.

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e307/ ... Mumo-1.gif

Pick the song(s) you want, then click on the checkout button.

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e307/ ... Mumo-2.gif

If you've already registered, put in your ID and password, otherwise you need to register.

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e307/ ... Mumo-3.gif

Enter your email address.

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e307/ ... Mumo-4.gif

Confirm your email. They will send you one soon, with a link in it, click the link.

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e307/ ... Mumo-5.gif

Terms of Service. Read them over if you want/can. Accept.

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e307/ ... Mumo-6.gif

Fill out the form. All fields are required except the last one. For the one's where it requires your name in kanji, just copy two random kanji from anywhere. I even used the same set twice. For the kana, I don't know if it will let you use romanji, I used an IME to put in the katakana for my name. That "2nd password" is probably just if you forget your password. You've seen stuff like that before.

That's about all I can do for now, because I don't wanna register a second email, but I think after that, it goes to inputting credit card info. Good luck.

I'll do a guide on actually downloading (as opposed to registering) if no one else has when 172 comes out.

The SEF page is a bit of a mess currently... the previews are mixed up (they don't match the song titles), and the song duration is not always correct (for example Emotions is just 5 minutes and not 6:46 as shown on the page). However, it's great that the extended versions are online. The extended of 'Pride' is great!

Could maybe someone from Japan explain what net-cash is? Is it virtual money or a real piece of paper with some code on it? Is it possible to buy it outside Japan? (it is needed for mora.jp)

What kbs are these downloads?

If there are extendeds of these songs, it is such a shame Avex does not offer them on SEB's instead of the chopped up 4:00 versions.

But then there'd be less songs.

And it's 128kbps *cue the complaining from the usual people*

At least space is limited by hard disk size now, not by room size. There was a time that I wanted the best sound quality possible (the only portable solution was tape back then). CD was the perfect solution with the perfect quality. But years have passed, and the number of CDs in my collection has increased to an anoying amount. mp3 and wma are indeed not as good, but still better than the old tapes, take much less room, are truly random accessible, and are an instant purchase.

Surely it has been fun, going to the post office every once in a while to pick up those unique CDs from Japan, but for me, CDs have become something of the ancient times as well. I agree that the sound quality of CD is better, but the advantages of music files are big enough (at least for me).

In other words: as far as I am concerned, the music distribution is fine as it is now, with the extendeds at mu-mo. The only thing is that FARM should put ALL songs at music master (*all* of the latest DIMA songs, not only a couple).

My old tapes had better quality than those horrible wma's.
wma never, but mp3 would acceptable for me above 192kbit.
From 192kbit the sound very similar to the original. But only in mp3.
The wma format miss the middle sounds, and has distorted high sounds.
People who listen music in hi-fi (like me) are gonna be sick from wma.
I never use my computer to listening music.
...I remember that time...

Yes, it only works with some Active X plugin and IE and Windows. Very annoying, but currently the only option to get AVEX songs online. FARM's distribution is much better at www.music-master.tv, there you can use Firefox without those proprietary annoyances and much better sound quality.
