I would imagine that too. Even just reading Bratt's old website (which appears to not be up anymore) you can tell he ain't going back.

And really, in like, the past ten years or something, has ANYONE (other than vocalists) joined Time? Sure, everyone's LEFT them, but did anyone ever go back?

Must say I agree. 15 (or even 10) years ago Time had ALL my favourite musicians under contract. At the moment I can't think of one.

Hey what about Mr. Sergio Dall Ora? He had his start way back in 80's too- Now he is a Eurobeat mogul. and his stable is full of awesome vocalists. inc.. Elena, Valeo and Giorgio.

Dall'Ora is the only one left. Gubinelli/Moroni/Newfield/Annerley/Pasquini/Ken Laszlo/Spagna/etc. etc.
have all worked there at some point.

Elena has lost her golden touch imo and the others I don't care for at all.

I agreed with MarkIventi on TIME. I think TIME has seriously lagged in great eurobeat for the past 2 SEB decades. The only one I think I really like is "Pride".

While the women's vocals are nice, the songs get so damned repetitive and the men's vocals on TIME are so annoyingly grating on my ears. The only time I hear good TIME stuff is either old school or their 200X remakes.

That's just IMHO.

exactly my point! What other label can say that they have accomplished that. Having every major Eurobeat/Italo name appear on thier label at one TIME or another :D

Flea did let people like for instance Farina, Crivellente and Pasquini do there thing. It looked like this was the 'gate way' to get finally getaway of Giacamo Maolini (what I have heard not always a populair person).
On this 'gate way' FLEA we did also met the vocals of Elena Gobbi (Giorgia Morandi by Sandro Oliva + Gino Caria), Ken Laszlo etc. etc. and also some work of Castanga and even Dall'ora (if I recall right).
Recarding Dall'ora or Time Records; I must say that in the days that I started to get intrested in the ITALO sound TIME RECORDS was huge! Later we all found out that it was a sort of 'shool' for most of the nowadays Eurobeat creators. Under the 'wings' of godfather Farina + Crivellente and Oliva lots of people start there career by this label.
If you compare it with the 'Eurobeat TIME' we see nowadays on each SEB volumes there's a difference. My guess it's a steady team build around Dall'ora (the mean man of Eurobeat Time) but I think Giacomo is more at the background cause the 'nowadays' TIME is more than Eurobeat alone. More can 'be made' in the other sections of TIME RECORDS.
Perhaps the influence of Giacomo is the mean diffenrence between the 'early' TIME and the 'Eurobeat TIME' with know now. I'll be quessing now ofcourse cause I wasn't there .......... maybe somebody can help me a little

Have a nice weekend!

Ronald (work is calling) :D
