Everything that is eurobeat can be discussed here.

With that said, again; how do you compare Eurobeat to trance?
Similarities are in every aspect, because trance evolved from Italo Disco. Melancholic synth melodies and sequences, sad chords, same percussion layering, same purpose on dancefloors. Same can be said for Eurobeat except that it has vocals and has grown a lot and it faster in BPM.

It's no wonder that trance fans can actually be more open minded towards Eurobeat than most people.

Hmm..Interesting take on Trance. I myself care very little for instrumentals, so really can't even hear a whole song all the way till the end. The meloncholic melodies is the only similiarity I can agree with musically, but you did point out some intellegent factors 8)

Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but I have to admit I was wrong about Nando Bonini being Riki Visconti.

The vocalist in "You Make Me Feel So Blue" and "Man Is For Woman" is most definitely Riccardo Bolognesi. I noticed his name in the songwriting credits and found it interesting that his name didn't appear in any other Stil Novo tracks.

I did a quick search, found his Myspace and well... The samples speak for themselves (except the first one, where he sings in his normal voice). I've sent him a message asking if it's really him singing the Riki Visconti tracks - I'll let you know if I get an answer.

I'm still 100% sure about Farina being Lilac/Boys Boys Boys and Pasquini being James Cooler. "Broken Wings" and "Falling Away", however, sound like someone else to me.

UPDATE: That was fast! 8)

So yeah... Riki Visconti = Riccardo Bolognesi, not Nando Bonini.
