If you're a collector of extendeds as I am, this certainly looks worth grabbing to flesh out many tracks from the 160/170 eras!

Yet again Back On The Rocks is featured, tho - that song is becoming as over-played as Night Of Fire :???:

Nice to see Disco Fire, Play Loud and Love For Money being featured, though! I'm shocked we've still had no (original) release of Takumi though!

WELCOME PEOPLE / MR.M

IDOL / IDOL
LOVE SHINING / KASANOVA
BE THE ONE / MR.M
LONELY NIGHT 2006 / HELENA

I don't watch this Initial D stuff, but someone sure is getting the sound track right

Hey wasn't "Disco Fire" Neo's track? First it was Mega NRG's version with "Burning Fire", then NEO and now Dave takes over vocals? I still think Avex should have put Dave's -"Lucky Man instead 8)

Lucky Man was on a previous Initial D CD in full, so personally I'm glad they didn't waste the space ;) (like they're repeatedly doing with Back On The Rocks)

I must confess I'm surprised they've never really used Hi-NRG music for Initial D, except Wings Of Fire - I know for a start Ganguro would sound swell on the race track. I guess they consider HRG material too manic for ID purposes, but who knows?

They should put Running Ninja on Initial D. I cringe at the lack of Delta on this compilation.

I was listening to some Akyr tunes yesterday, and it suddenly came to me that a lot of that stuff could be really good in the anime series! O:

I want my 5th stage ;_;

Yay! I got my copy of this today! :D Power and Switch in extended forms rock!

And I just got to Disco Fire... Haha, this is freaky - it's actually the Neo song! But with Dave Rodgers singing! Arg... I don't know WHY the heck they'd replace Neo for this version, but still - Dave doesn't sound half bad on this track, but I'd still prefer to hear Neo :(

The Dave version of Disco Fire isn't new really, it first appeared on Gazen ParaPara!! Presents Campus Summit 2006, personally I thought Neo's vocals were too weak for that song (he sounds like he is struggling through most of it) so I prefer the Dave version.
