Sadly I don't know if A-Beat C or SCP are ever likely to appear there - from what others have said they have such strong ties to Avex (SCP in particular is published through them), they probably wouldn't have permission to release on Juno/iTunes. But you never know, stranger things have happened!

We should pay attention to Saifam as well - they have a remarkably strong presence on Juno now. I wonder if they plan to release all their EB stuff there eventually?

SAIFAM has already shot itself in the foot. They release crappy Eurodance songs (not that the genre is crappy; the songs themselves are poor) under the title "Eurobeat", which rapes the genre of credibility.

Don't believe me? SAIFAM's remix of Don't Stop Believin' is outselling Running In the 90's by a large margin. It disgusts me.

I have NO idea what SAIFAM thinks it's doing by releasing one genre under another's title. Very little of their releases so far have been legitimate Eurobeat.
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

Really? I don't follow "Crappy" Eurodance. and yes it is CRAPPY, but what songs would those be that Saifam has released under the title Eurobeat. :???:

Mm, I'm being specific to SAIFAM on iTunes here... I'm not sure about Juno. If you have access to iTunes at all, type in Eurobeat; it's their exercise series. :P

Don't do iTunes, but I have seen a lot of non Eurobeat stuff on thier Saifam site. Anyway, I don't care for it at all.

Great news. Burning In The Night from Euromach fame is definately my pick this week.

Hell yes, Vibration! But what is this alphabetical release nonsense? *wants Queen of Fire* :(

Though it's probably better for my wallet that they're not putting it all up at once; I am not very good at resisting the siren call of the instrumental and voice tracks. :P

For anyone who's not heard/picked it up before:

Maria Short - Another Devil

... is an absolutely fantastic track :D I'm astounded Avex never picked this up for Euromach, as it fits the series' style so well, and is now one of my absolute EB favourites - really nice punchy bass and drum line; warm yet melancholic melody/chord progression; great, clear vocals; plus a really neat build up and the start and a haunting bell-like synth for the instrumental.

10/10!

I agree. It's also interesting note that Maria Short had a hand in composing her songs at Vibration. Another Devil has a strong Bad Angel vibe. Another terrific track of her's

I sometimes think AVEX flips a coin or rolls a dice to choose songs. I really don't get thier criteria for choosing music. Sometimes they hit a bulls eye and sometimes they just plain suck at selecting.

I actually made my own extended of Crash In My Heart. That song is so extraordinary. I immediately fell in love with the break featuring that bass guitar full of Italo passion. One of my all-TIME favorites. I still can't figure out why it never was released on vinyl.

I think I'll download it and compare it to mine. :)

I'm not surprised Cybernetic Fire is the same track from Euro Panic under the artist name Cyborg. Now they need King Of Fire 8)

Yeah, Cybernetic Fire was originally a Vibration number, but then its rights were somehow moved to NRJ Mania during the EuroPanic! series along with a few other tracks, hence the replacement of the Mike Danger alias with Cyborg. Memories by Cindy Cooper might've even been completely revamped because its soundworld sounds quite updated to be only #074 in the catalogue (which would suggest it was originally made around 1997) - it uses LED's modern style that was officially introduced with Shock The Night by Jimmy Bravo/Joe Tempest (VIB #091).
