Weird - the extended version on mu-mo is definitely the Neo version, although it is tagged as Dave Rodgers. I'd rather have the Neo vocals anyway... :P

Might have something to do with Sandro Oliva coproducing it. I've always felt SCP was a cross between ABeatC and Vib lol.

Gotta agree here 100%! The track is pure EPIC triumph. This is what I've been waiting for a new Go2 track to sound like.It sjhowcases all of SCP's best influences melodywise, but it's even better that it is D'marcantonio singing up a Eurobeat storm. His female companion back up sounds pretty damn good too.

This track will surely make a high appearence on my top 10 Euro Grooves.

It gets the Dr. NRG stamp of Approval 8)

Go 2 would never go with that sound. It just doesn't fit them. Dima's style is straightforward and energetic with speed. Not so much power but an energetic rush with blazing rhythms. Go 2's style is more power. Somewhat slower, more intentional rock style performance with a hard rhythm and energy.

Speaking of which, Krystal sounds, to me, like she's Elisa from Delta (Queen 26 etc), which shouldn't come as a big surprise.

Guess I was right - it's the 14th and I still haven't received my 190 (and a few other CDs). This is just pathetic, I'm pissed!!! ><
Sorry, I just had to complain a bit. :???:

Yeah, thanks for taking money out of Newfield's pocket, Lebon. Rock on. I hope I never have the misfortune of producing a publicly sold work while you're still alive.

Unfortunately there are people like Lebon who think they are entitled to thiings without paying for them if they somewhat like them. If you can't afford or don't want to take the risk. Then guess what. You don't deserve to get it AT ALL. Listening to it without paying is stealing no matter what sort of demented justification you put on it. Stealing is stealing is stealing.
So go fuck yourself Lebon you starwars fatass looking motherfucker.

If you want to see the end of Super Eurobeat, you may as well allow people to download your uploaded copy instead of buying it and supporting it.

I was hoping it wasn't gonna come to this as I was being very subtle about my dislike of lebon after the one SEPH episode. After I heard about his post about me commenting on his pirating SEB and various albums, I decided to be very subtle and light hearted on the matter. But obviously since both Newfield and Javy mentioned it here I go.

Lebon you criticize me for making fun of you yet you dunderheaded kid don't realize that Avex already knows about you pirating. In fact Avex probably has your personal info. If I'm not mistaken, they're getting in contact with all the labels to complete a lawsuit on you. If Avex is angry enough to go after Phil's (Nine's) youtube videos on a concert, you better believe they'll go after you. No matter how "noble" your cause is, you don't seem to understand...

STEALING IS STEALING WHETHER OR NOT YOU'RE PUTTING IT OUT THERE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE MONEY TO LISTEN TO IT!

It doesn't matter whether or not you hate WMA's. I hate vinyls because I don't have anything to play them on. But not too long ago if you wanted extendeds of songs, your only option is vinyl. Whether or not you hate the quality, you can't for any reason complain about it being WAV or 320kbps mp3 if its not available. If you can't stand the quality, tough shit. Just as I had to grit my teeth with vinyls, you have to grit you teeth with quality because that's just how it is. Not the most ideal but oh well. As a friendly warning I'm just letting you know and anyone else that goes to Initial D forums...

AVEX HAS ALL YOUR INFO. ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY CLOSE THE SITE DOWN AND GO AFTER THE MEMBERS WHO PUT MUSIC OUT THERE.

Wanna risk it?

Vinyls were a godsend. Good crisp sound so long as you knew how to care for them and less chance of Piracy. Oh how I miss them :( u

Agreed, its a shame that Avex makes DJ Gun butcher extendeds into more mix friendly versions. But it still won't stop me from buying the vinyls.

Finally bought some of the new songs! Here are a few comments for both that I downloaded:

- 1 WEEK / KRYSTAL FEAT. DAVID DIMA: (10++++)
As groundbreakingly epic as I'd expected. I thought Super Dragon and Rock Me Tonight were perfect examples of how powerful a sound Dima could muster, but 1 Week is very much a whole new direction for Davide Di Marcantonio's label and is more than welcome, especially considering his usual tendency to rehash older materials. This is really everything that Back To 80's should've been - powerful, catchy, and memorable. The vocal + instrumental chemistry in this track is fantastic - both vocalists are given a fair share throughout (not giving only a few lines + minor backup to the female vocalist and just letting the male one completely dominate the rest of the song) and cooperate nicely with each other to add on to the already-prominent edge in the production, from the excellent call + answer verse setup to the climatically exciting chorus. Definitely a fantastic song that I will undoubtedly be keeping on my playlist for years to come.

- PARA GIRL / DOMINO: (10+)
I really don't know why Domino never saw any action throughout the 180's aside from her "appearance" (which was really more of a cameo, like Elena Gobbi's unexpected visit in Manuel's Shock Me) in Back To 80's, but regardless, it's nice to see her truly active once again. Not particularly fascinated by its sample, I didn't bother to purchase Call Me immediately (I may buy it later), but since there's been a lot of hype surrounding Para Girl, I decided to give that song a spin, and it definitely manages to leave quite a few nice surprises. For one, I really like the verse - its quirky catchiness sounds a lot like how Andrea Leonardi would've handled the song if he'd written it. The rest of the song isn't any slouch either though - the vocal sabi is a cute addition that brings back some of the fun that I enjoyed in Cooking Boy as well, and the backdrop yelps are trademark qualities that let you know that it's a Domino song. The chorus doesn't stand out as much (in fact, that's a frequent gripe that I've had with some GGM songs as of late), but it all still flows soundly and leaves me pleased in the end, so it gets a high grade.

Infinity - what are you talking about?? Domino is pretty much in the whole entire song in Back to 80s. She's in all the verses, bridge, chorus... hell she's even in the synth hook hahaha.... a far cry from just a cameo if you'd ask me.

I've always like Call Me better than Para Girl, but they're both awesome songs. I was more stoked that AVEX put up the English/Japanese version of Cookin' Boy for download. 1 Week is awesome too, Avex picked great songs for the 'bonus tracks.'
