Go2's latest tracks were all starting to sound the same and the introduction of Fastway's rapping just made me like them even less, so this new song; which follows a very Jay Lehr vibe is music to my ears. Besides like Ditz said, it's good for the artist to have variety and not just get stuck in the same style., other wise all thier new songs are just a continuation of thir previous ones.

Yes I read your review, but that "Cheesy" remark wasn't something I concider a good choice of word. Anyway, seems I'm the one who likes that Go2 track most this TIME? hmmm, that's a first.LOL!Did anyone even read my review? I liked Purple Emotion in much the same way as I liked Music Come On...

My mini-review of 191
Okay, there is one of the few albums that I've listened to all the way through and was satisfied. I think the last album that did that for me was 179 so kudos on a smashing album. Here are my thoughts...
1) HURRY UP HURRY UP/ LOLITA
My banshee mistress is back for another good entry in the GGM catalog. While not to the glory that GOODNIGHT KISS was, I still adore Ms. Gobbi and her amazing talent to never have a boring song. I agree with Bore that the melos seemed like they were going to build up to an amazing sabi, but that didn't happen. Not her best, but something I'll like because of my fandom towards the LOLITA alias.
3) RUNAWAY/ LEO RIVER
Can we say Manuel 2.0? Leo's voice is full of energy that Manuel has spread around for the past five years. I could see either man sing this song. A great vocal range, terribly good buildup to the sabi, and just amazing work by Olivia-Gatti.
5) LOOKING FOR LOVERS/ DUCKY CHIX
Spirituals in the intro? Weird. That aside, Sinclaire has really only had me groove to MOVE ON NOW a couple of albums ago. The problem with this song and the others thus far is the lack of variety. Fast paced whispy synths in the riffs worked well for such hits as LOVE AS A WEAPON, RUNAWAY (Donna, 140s), and PILOT IS THE HERO, but it's been overused now. Grana's vocals are seriously warped in an attempt to go HI-NRG ATTACK on us. Not very pleasant in the least. If you want good Sinclaire shit, hit up the WLTP series for good Grana vocals.
6) INTO THE GAME/ POWERFUL T.
His alias implies what his songs should be. My common lament about his songs in the 170s and 180s is that the productions, on the whole, didn't meld together. Not since ORIGINAL SIN have I heard a great POWERFUL T song, but now here it is. The A-BEAT C power I loved so dear in the 150s and 160s is back.
7) A NEVERENDING NIGHT/ MICKEY B
Where the hell have you been, B? We missed you! The song reminds me much of her song NEVER MIND. A-BEAT C made me a fan again! The synths were lovely and, of course, the vocals. There's a great element to her singing that keeps me coming back.
9) WILDLIFE/ JAY LEHR
If I could "do" Jay Lehr's voice, I would. Yes, tacky, but true. I'm going to call this the spiritual successor of IMAGINE. Two things about LEHR songs. 1) His vocals are superb...mellow and powerful at the same time, 2) his lyrics give me such great imagery. Something about the first a-melo gives me the imagine of some Italian Moby Dick...Best entry from SCP in a long time.
more to come....

Without doubt, Runaway is the major highlight of this album for me, and it's really the only track that I've been constantly listening to nonstop without it losing a wink of replay value. Leo River's vocals are just packed with a ton of energy and the lusty, hard-hitting synths make them feel completely at-home.
This album is still one of the better ones to be released in recent years, and I still really enjoy many of its tracks, but not quite everything has kept all of its initial spark for me. Aside from Runaway, I've been very happy listening to Kiss Me Divine, Wildlife, Purple Emotion, My Gasoline, and A Neverending Night consistently, but other songs, particularly Looking For Lovers and Fantasy World, don't excite me that much anymore the more I listen to them.
Finally, I must add that Ride On My Speedy Car is already a major contender for my "overrated song of the 190's" award. Garcon can do much better than that overhyped, chaotic mess of a eurobeat song - the only Garcon track since HRG's SEB introduction that it beats is the mediocre Hannibal The Cannibal from 177; otherwise, I'll definitely take a listen to Bazookaaa, Pistol Man, Super Kaiser, or Crazy Race On The Street anyday over it. It's not a complete disaster since it's still energetic and fairly catchy, but it's still far behind Garcon's other tracks in terms of structure and refinement.
EDIT: My current overall standings for this album (using Panu's grading system):
1. HURRY UP HURRY UP / LOLITA: (9-)
2. MANGA SUPER ROBOT / BABBY ONE: (9+)
3. RUNAWAY / LEO RIVER: (10++++)
4. RIDE ON MY SPEEDY CAR / GARCON: (7)
5. LOOKING FOR LOVERS / DUCKY CHIX: (8-)
6. INTO THE GAME / POWERFUL T.: (9-)
7. A NEVERENDING NIGHT / MICKEY B.: (10-)
8. KISS ME DIVINE / MARK FOSTER: (10)
9. WILDLIFE / JAY LEHR: (9+)
10. MY GASOLINE / DANIEL: (9)
11. FANTASY WORLD / ANNALISE: (7)
12. PURPLE EMOTION / GO 2: (10+)
13. GOT TO BE CERTAIN / CHERRY: (9)
FINAL SCORE: (9)

#Infinity
Here is my take on those funky lyrics. Don't flame, cuz I'm just making shit up about a guy who wants attention for his new cadillac. remeber Joe D. Toaster has a Black Night Cadillac
Ride On My Speedy Car- Garcon
Dive into the darkness, Running by your car tonight
You light my fire aih aih aih aih
Can U feel the power, Driving Down a thunder road
My heart's on fire, baby comon now
I can beleive in super car, The only scream in my heart
I'm dancing with the night and the moonlight
hey you the car will take me now, I want to feel my lovly fire ,my super power
Ride on my speedy car. a guy needs attention
hey don't you see me baby got this caddy(cadillac)
Run like a Speedy car, I got good attention
I get this fever in the college caddy(Cadillac)
You collect the pressure ,driving all around tonight
You got the power aih aih aih aih
Driving thru the fire, Burning all the NRG
of your desire over & over
Pretty high grades On agree on Garcon. I wonder if it's those tougue twister lyrics that has huge HRG Attack fans like #infinty and Myself wondering what happened? I mean, the music is great, but.. anyway, will someone post those uncomprehendable lyrics from the booklet allready1. HURRY UP HURRY UP / LOLITA: (9-)

Definitely, his tell-tale growl is always there just before the chorus...cheeseman wrote:I'm pretty sure Ducky Chix is Roberta as well.
Also, regarding My Gasoline, there's definitely no Marco there... You can clearly hear Luca Torchiani in the verses, whereas in the chorus he is joined by another vocalist (Luke?).

Top 5:
Lolita - Hurry Up Hurry Up
Powerful T - Into The Game
Garcon - Ride On My Speedy Car
Ducky Chix - Looking For Lovers
Mark Foster - Kiss Me Divine
HM: Leo River - Runaway(don't care for for the autotuned vocals)
Bottom 5:
Annalise - Fantasy World(at least they scored two hits with ABeatC this time, but this one is just a waste of space)
Cherry - Got To Be Certain(lazy cover)
Jay Lehr - Wildlife
Daniel - My Gasoline
Go2 - Purple Emotion
Overall: Quite a letdown after the 180s. ABeatC is making a comeback in quality, GGM has a greater presence, but Delta and SCP suck now, at least on this album, after blazing through the 180s, are they burned out? And one of the filler tracks could have been a Dima track like 1 Week instead.
