I really wish HRG would release Electro Cow already. :(

Hehe, Hi-NRG Attack sure does an excellent job of choosing songs I'm looking forward to hearing for their separate releases - I hope What Rocket Do You Want is as interesting as I expect it to be! :D

Since a large amount of these tracks are repeats from older albums (which is fine), I'm gonna hope that they'll release a Nick Turbo Va Va Boom 2 some point in the future that includes more tracks that didn't have the room to show up, including extensions of Dancing Into The Fire and Mazinkaiser Superstar.

^^
If there were an oldies 7, I would suspect Electro Cow to show up.

The Nick Turbo Va Va Boom album is a fun wacky album :D . Quite a contrast from some of the mellow tracks of Bazooka Girl and Friends album.

Absolutely LOVE "Put Down Your Gun"
These tracks are awesome as well: "Dollar Machine," "Funky Town Boom Boom," and "City is Burning"

I love Hi-NRG Attack for these releases...they definitely keep me going through the waiting period for the next Super Eurobeat albums.

Holy crap HRG has two new releases and where the hell have I been. TIME to catch up.

Bazooka Girl & Friends

1. Bazooka Girl- Bazooka Girl
First off it's really funny to have this be the opening song. but it is Bazooka Girl. I mantioned before that this is one of my favs, because of the alternate world to Garcon's original.
:)

2. Tri- Star- We Are The Teens
Aside form the synth riff, I'm not liking this at all. A little too much on the silly side and no Garcon makes it sdound more like Two- Star.
:(

3. Ely Kotero- Come On Baby Light My Fire
Nice normal vocals. and slower BPM's sound great. This song has a really heavy Italo feel in the Riff. LOVE IT!! I think this could easily been given as the new Ciao Ciao. I can't enouigh of that riff and the third verse.

4. Mika- La -Do- Let The Dog Out
Big change in BPMs from the previous, but damn love those vocals. She sang that barracuda song a while back. Once again nice Italo feel in the riff and those guitars in the verses are a nice touch.
:)

5. Bazooka Girl- Ike Ike 2009
Totally different version than Pistol Girl's. I still like it, because of that melody in the chorus
:)

6. Mara Nell- Hot Gal.
Dead Or Alive is alive again in that Synth riff. Still a great song all around.
:)

7. Nikita Jr. Love Hotel.
Once again a very well crafted Synth riff. HRG Attack excells in this. Thius song has a bridge that I'm especially fond of and nicly showcases a fun chorus. That third verse with most soundworlds dropped sounds really good.
:)

8. Leslie Hammond- Save Me.
This is one of my favourites, because it sounds so Norma Sheffield-esque. Some one try to deny it. Just listen to the riff. I doubt AVEX would ever choose these slower romantic HRG songs, so it's nice to have them on compilations like these .

9. Dolly Pop- Nite & Day.
A fun HRG Attack song. Not too different from other songs melody-wise, but still loads of fun in that riff.
:)

10.Laura Vox- Bad Gun Fire.
Now we are talking. Holy Holy! That's one mighty sounding riff blareing out my pc speakers. Agressive femal sung HRG. They don't get get better than this. ..and thoise the older trunpet sounding synths. Amazing!!
:D

11.Hi-NRG All Stars - Rumiringo Superstar.
This one is just as cool. and you can really hear the different female vocals. I can't tell them apart, but I can sure hear differences. Those synths in the riff remind me loads of Jee bee's classic "Hi Energy"
:)

12. Claudia Vip - "Dancing With The Fire"
Welcome back Claudia! Loving this song as my second favourit next to Laura Vox and Leslie Hammond. Kinda makes you eat your words when you say that all HRG sounds repetitive. It's AVEX who choose the same sounding songs, but Live Music Team got some real hidden gems in thier catalog, that break away from the usual HRG formula. You got the "Get My Hot Gun" sounding chorus ,but with a totaly different riff.
:D

13. Bazooka Girl- Money Funny Dollars.
Still one of my favs and a proper5 way to end such a fun filled compilation.
:)

And HRG just sunk to a new low with their album covers.

The use of the words 'fire', 'desire' and 'higher' were used just a wee bit too much in Bazooka Girl & Friends. I'm well aware these are the dominant rhyming words in many eurobeat songs, but c'mon, some creativity wouldn't hurt!

I can be very nitpicky with HRG since I feel they're a one-trick pony for the most part, but I was actually surprised with some of these female tracks. The winners for me were clearly 'Save Me' and 'Come on Baby Light My Fire', if only for the fact they stand out due to the slightly lower BPMs (atypical of most HRG productions). I'd love for HRG to explore this slower style more.

LOL...
That reminds me of "Love Me In The Heat Of The Night" (title wise) by Time Force on 173. Full of over-used words for title FTW.

Samples are now up for Nick Turbo Va Va Boom. My favorite tracks are Put Down Your Gun and Tom Tom Sex Bomb Killer, but Funky Town Boom Boom and City Is Burning are also quite interesting, although those low vocals throughout the verses will probably take a bit of time to get used to. What Rocket Do You Want is a fun, quirky track, not really melodically prominent but still good. Overall this is a nice compilation, I just wish there were slightly fewer repeats.

I love the sound of these samples, particularly Put Down Your Gun. That hyped-up style and the melodic progressions just seem to appeal to my ear and make me want to listen again and again. The hooks are all really strong as well.

Keep em coming Live Music Studio - loving your work! :)

Is that Chris or maybe the actual(original) vocalist behind Bazooka Girl and Ely Kotero, whatever her name was?

Hot damn! More HRG Attack. This round we have chalk full of Nick's warped and aggressive vocal works. Just what the Dr. ordered  My only beef is too many repeats.

01 Boogaboo - "Bugabuga Chew Chew" (extended mix)
never gets old and Nick does his best to sound like Claudio Magnani. very powerful and catchy chorus
10+/10

02 Remy Panther - "On The Road Again To The Show" (extended mix)
another fun track. though the only part I really recall was the chorus.
9/10

03 Nick Turbo - "Funky Town Boom Boom" (extended mix)
Here we go new music. Those lower tone vocals sound very...well; funky, but somehow work well with the song's theme. Funky Town, China Town sound s fun enough
7+/10

04 Jungle Bill - "Put Down Your Gun" (extended mix)
This is agressive and fast and has a wonderful Italo sounding chorus, This is exactly what I love about HRG Attack, That flawless combination of Italo riffs and warped chaotic soundworlds.
10++++(favourit song hands down)

05 Garcon - "Dollar Machine" (extended mix)
This one has a really heavy Euromach vibe. SDuck A Bazooka and other Franz Classics come to mind.
9-/10

06 Garcon - "Walk Around The Jungle" (extended mix)
Thios one is ok. I never really got the vibe of his vocals in the chorus, but I thought the riff was really great.
7+/10

07 Boogaboo - "What Rocket Do You Want" (extended mix)
Anothe5r insta classic which oozes of being Buga Buga Choo Choo part two. This one should show up on SEB, that is if AVEX has any idea of what they are doing there.
10++(second favourit song)

08 Cy-Ro - "Hi-Speed Mania" (extended mix)
This song will allways be an instant classic. The sing along factor is divine.
10+++

09 Garcon - "Pistol Man" (extended mix)
Jingle bells Jingle bells. That was the melody someone pointed out and now I cannot get it out of my mind, but I still love it!
9/10

10 Garcon - "City Is Burning" (extended mix)
The last song contained the lyric; The town is on fire and now the City is Buring. I think Garcon is an arsonaist? LOL! Those warped voacls work even better on this track and are coupled with a feirce riff.
10/10

11 Nick Turbo - "Cha La La Fire" (extended mix)
Another Buga Buga like song. Pretty much means another classic for me. why do I think these songs were written with Claudio Magnani in mind before he left. This one is addictive to say the least.
10-/10

12 Joe Banana - "Tom Tom Sex Bomb Killer" (extended mix)
Joe Banana is one of my favourit aliases at HRG Attack. This song is 1000% HRG Attack style. The words Sex Bomb and Killer need to be used more in Eurobeat.
10+/10

13 Joe D Toaster - "Sex Gun" (extended mix)
This one is still gives me chill in that bridge. Something about his vocals kinda go up and down sound really creepy , but awesome at the TIME.
9+/10

This cd is exactly what I expect from HRG. Keep em comming. Please!!!
