I won't disagree that Parapara Queen is a wonderful song. After all, I've had it as my ringtone for several years and haven't thought about changing it any time soon. But unfortunately (?), it goes the other way. It's PPQ that copies several eurobeat songs, incidentally, all from SEB 114:
  • Intro: MAX - Never Gonna Stop It (as was already mentioned)
Verse: Denise - Passion in the Night
    Bridge: Kevin Johnson - Adorable
All three cases are 1:1 similarities. The chorus seems original. However, if you want to stretch it (for symmetry's sake if nothing else), it vaguely resembles Lolita's Ready for Your Heart.

Copyright and other such issues aside, I think it's a very neat idea to use the best parts of other songs to make an even better new one. I've pondered which ones I'd use myself if I was to do the same thing. The intro would probably come from Dave & Nuage's Love Me or Leave Me. It's one of the best introes ever and so wasted in the original...

It's up on iTunes Japan.

And now, scoreless-review time.

Kate Rush - One Day - The chorus feels a bit slow, but the rest of the song, and the production, is amazing. A lot of little details. Random guitar solo seems out-of-place, but it works well, too.

Y&Co. feat. Domino - Monkey Dance '09 - Much tighter sounding that hearing it on IIDX. Really nice breakdown section, the synth reminds me of a typical Bemani one, especially something from KeyboardMania. Domino's a good match for the song.

Veronica - Mamma Mia - The synth line... just doesn't feel right. Not at all. Wrong sound, wrong melody. It's a bit too low, I think? Kind of nice how the arrangement builds up through the song, but it still feels like it could have used more. Vocalist is alright. The song kinda drags on. Okay cover, but nothing too special.

Dave Rodgers - Love in the Elevator - The chorus is really nice, well arranged, the rest of the song seems to suffer the typical A-Beat C "Where's the arrangement?" The synth line is nice, though. Seems like it'd be a good driving song.

Delta Queens - Bye Bye Tokyo - Weird synth, but I really like it. Very energetic. Very catchy.

Jay Lehr - Bright Time - Kinda weird to listen to this after Bye Bye Tokyo. It's so laid back. I still think it needed that extra oomph with the vocals in the chorus, but at the same time, it's hard to see how that could have fit. Really want to pitch the song up a notch or two.

April - Hanami - Very airy, with that slight touch of trance-iness. I think the vocal effects work with it in this direction. A nice, solid production, but like Bright Time, I'm not sure this was the right album. Almost every song is fast and peppy, yet the two SCP songs are rather slow and mellow. With the two Halloween songs last album, is Avex just messing up when SCP songs are appearing? :P

Futura - Give Me Sunshine - The vocals are nice, but the song is just... missing something. And a lot of that something. It's so quiet, especially after the previous song. It *should* be so much better, it has traces of being great, but it doesn't go there.

Starkly Ice - Stargate - The synth line is a bit lacking. The female vocals only really work in the verse here. If they'd gotten rid of the rest of them, especially in the chorus, it'd be an amazing song. Still a pretty nice song. It's a very non-HRG song, still has more traces of their touch, but it's so different. Hopefully a sign?

Queen26 - Upside Down - Nice touches with the percussion. The song feels a lot like 100-120 eurobeat, I think? Could win a lot of fans that way.

Rich Hard - Pirates - The vocals are nice, but the song is just... missing something. And a lot of that something. It's so quiet, especially after the previous song. It *should* be so much better, it has traces of being great, but it doesn't go there. And just so I'm not completely lazy, where's some pirate-themed sounds? I demand some accordion! I again direct everyone to Pirates of the Sea - Wolves of the Sea for how it should be done. It does have an interesting piano solo, and bassline (as far as eurobeat basslines go).

Tora - King & Queen - It's alright, the original's better. Some nice touches, but it feels like the arrangement and synths just make a bit of a mess. The breakdown is unique, but... weird...

Giorgia V - Shot Shot Shot - I hate to say "typical GGM", because that implies a bad thing, but it's good here. A nice, solid production, maybe nothing too special compared to previous songs, but it's still a great song.

Overall Thoughts:
Aside from SCP, a very fast album, peppy and poppy. (Again, not that the SCP songs are bad, they just didn't fit the theme, so I'm blaming Avex for that) Aside from a surprisingly good track from HRG, what'd I say is you're getting about what you're expecting from all the labels. I'd recommend it.

Top 3:
Y&Co. Feat. Domino - Monkey Dance
Delta Queens - Bye Bye Tokyo
April - Hanami

Pirates is epic!! I cannot stop listening to it, and it is probably my favourite track on the album so far. Awesome piano interlude, and the catchiest chorus I've heard in a while - I'll be singing this one all day in work tomorrow I'll bet! :D

( I've never rated an album before, so this doesn't look professional at all haha :P )

Overall
And again a 19X album I do really like!
This album contained only a few songs I didn't like, all others were just perfect!

Top 3
1. Hanami / April
2. Upside Down / Queen 26
3. Bye Bye Tokyo / Delta Queens

Total rating
7,6/10

Notes
- This is a very good album, I like it!
- Bye Bye Tokyo / Delta Queens, its synth riff sounds very different from any other Eurobeat synth riff I've ever heard in my life!
- Hanami / April, awesome trance sounding song!
- Give me Sunshine / Future, vocalist isn't very good.
- A new HRG style has been featured on this album (Stargate)
- Upside Down / Queen 26, is a ripoff from: So Yu Jin's ParaPara Queen (Korean production)

02 - One Day / Kate Rush
The intro sounds pretty good, this song makes me happy! Instantly.
Synth Riff sounds very catchy. Awesome song!
8/10

03 - Monkey Dance '09 / Y&Co ft. Domino
I've heard this before on IIDX, I think it's a very nice addition to this album. It's full of energy and I think Domino did very well!
7/10

04 - Mamma Mia / Veronica
I think its intro is just very strange, whattehack is that strange voice saying in this intro? :S Synth riff sounds pretty strange too, just as Mikaeru said: Wrong Sound, Wrong Melody and a bit too low!
6/10

05 - Love In The Elevator / Dave Rodgers
This song belongs to one of this albums' bests, very fast riff that makes me think of the good old A-Beat C style that you can hear on Initial D.
I can't get the sentence ''Women Can Love In The Elevator'' out of my head, it's soo catchy. This song is just great! Awesome A-Beat C production..
9/10

06 - Bye Bye Tokyo / Delta Queens
Haha, usually I don't like Delta.
But this song is a hit fpr me :!: What a strange synth riff, it's soo powerfull, energetic, just perfect! I ADORE IT!
I'd love to hear more of this kind synths riffs and energetic songs!
9,5/10

07 - Bright Time / Jay Lehr
I think Jay Lehr is an artist with a wonderful voice, I liked every song he sang so far. Including this one.
It's not energetic at all, and it doesn't give you a dose of vitamins.
It's slow, nice and very relaxing! Very good.
9/10

08 - Hanami / April
Another song I adore, I love this trancey style and April's pitched up vocals. I just can't say more about this song.
It's perfect! :D
10/10

09 - Give Me Sunshine / Futura
I don't know what to think of this song, Futura's (speaking) English doesn't seem to be very well. I think this song is a little bit so/so.
This song is a little bit too airy. It's missing the energy, and power.
5/10

10 - Stargate / Starkly Ice
Actually, I like this Hi-NRG Attack song.. It really doesn't sound Russian-style or so. Not that energetic, and the lyrics is just strange :?
Anyways, I like the melody and this kind of style.
7/10

11 - Upside Down / Queen 26
W-O-W, AWESOME.
Nothing more to say! It sounds exactly like So Yu Jin's: ParaPara Queen!
I loved that song, but this is even better than PPQ!
Very energetic, synth sounds pretty strange and that's what I like too.
It's perfect, again! I can't believe it haha :P This is Delta and usually I don't like the music they produce.
10/10

12 - Pirates / Richard Hard
Hmm, no :???:
3/10

13 - King and Queen (Classic Mix) / Tora
I like the helicopter blades rotating you can hear in the intro, and the trance style of this song. I think Tora did very well!
7/10

14 - Shot Shot Shot / Giorgia V.
I think Race Queen was much better, this song sounds OK to me.
And I'm glad to hear some new fresh GoGosMusic :)
Good song!
8/10

"We're Making Love", isn't it? "We're making love in the elevator"...?

(Then again... I guess I don't mind if it really is "Women can love in the elevator"... security cameras, much? ;3 )
A lot's changed in the decade and a half I've been here.

I searched for Jay Lehr, and it brought up Bright Time. Then I clicked on the little arrow beside the album title, et voila! I dunno why it doesn't show when you search for Super Eurobeat - silly iTunes!

So Pirates is from ABeatC ?
How can someone not like this song ?!?! It's ABeatC with the best synths they can possibly ever have !
I can't wait to have the listen of the full album though...

Then you need to listen to more DJ Zorro productions, since the synths sound very, very similar.

Perhaps 'Pirates' could sound better in full, but at the moment I'm not phased by it. I can't shake off the possibility that this was originally meant to be a Hyper Techno song that's been 'eurobeatised.' The vocalist is also quite amateurish and lame.

Seriously - I think Pirates is one the best tracks A-Beat C have put on the SEB series in ages. The hook is reminiscent of the best Neo tracks from the 160 era, and the chorus is sooo damn catchy and fun!! :)

"Pirates" may not be the best thing A-Beat-C presented during the 19x decade so far but it is really an enjoyable song by any means. The vocalist sound very fitting to the song and I think I can look forward to more songs by this alias.

Last Added : Who is April ? I thought Hanami was just disturbing to listen to at some points.

As far as I know, it's like a vocal generation software that you can get, so it's not an actual "person" that's singing. I enjoy Hanami quite a lot, but I know there will be many people that will hate it's airy, eurodance vibes.

Some people have mentioned it, and I kind of agree, it sounds like a highly edited Ai Yamamoto. Which would make sense with the theme. It has her sort of laid back vocal style.
