It's okay. I've spent years getting bitter over the US getting DDR games over a year before the UK, so I guess old habits die hard!

So long as they give us the albums within the next few days, everything will be hunky dory! Haha

- Lou Grant: Since Time/Eurogrooves focuses on a much broader array of different aliases than A-Beat C, GGM, and SCP, choosing a theme here would be difficult, but I would really love to have at least one Time/Eurogrooves-based compilation, since they're my new favorite label. Lou Grant is probably one of the most popular classic titles from the label, and it's also easily one of the best imo, so I'd strongly recommend a Lou Grant-themed special collection over anything else.
This could be tricky since Lou's persona was origianly Gino Caria ,than morphed into David Di Marcantonio. Thay might have better luck releasing something along the lines of Sophie or Helena, who has always been Elena Ferreti. Clara was consistant with her aliases at TIME as well. For male alias3es almost all have taken on by other vocals. Even die hards Mike Hammer and Tommy K were switched at least one TIME. Giani Corraini's vocals pretty much stayed tru, but the rest were all over the place.

Lou's compilations would definately have to feature these classics.

Sex Heroes
Communication
Allways On My Mind
I Want To Be A Winner
Boom Boom Para Para
What Kinda Cure
Take Me Up & Down
...just to name a few.

The special collections aren't necessarily focused on a single vocalist. The Lolita compilations, for example, feature songs sung by both Annerley Gordon and Elena Gobbi. For what it's worth, they don't even need to use a picture of the actual vocalist for the cover based on what we've seen lately.

I wouldn't have known that, since I don't do itunes, but thanks for the heads up. It seemed like most of the itunes comps were staying true to one vocalist, like Fastway, Mega NRG Man, Ace, ect.., and since I havn't heard of a Derreck Simon King & Queen compilation, I thought they were sticking to one vocals -one alias kinda theme. :???:

Looks like they are on the UK iTunes store too, but my iTunes isn't upgrading my Ace track automatically...

Is there anyway I can do it manually?

Usually there is just a button to upgrade and it downloads it after it recharges you a minor fee :-|

Nope - no such button for me. I did find an article saying that there is no longer the option to upgrade tracks now that were bought before a certain date, which kinda sucks major ass tbh...

Oh well, you win some you lose some I guess.

Get on the store's main page and check the right menu. There should be an "upgrade tracks" option...

Signing in and upgrading worked just fine for me.

I'll say this much - particularly since I listen on headphones a lot - the stereo separation improves dramatically between 128 and 256kbps, the clarity on backup vocals in the far left and right sides is much clearer - the 128kbps renders it so you can hear them (and other "quiet" sounds), but they sound more mushed in with the rest of the audio. Plus - the bass is far more substantial in the re-releases too, there's a real kick to the bass drums in songs like Ace's We Are Magic now! This is precisely why I constantly lobby for us NOT to have releases in such rubbish sound quality! There really is a substantial difference!

So that's a thumbs up from me! Avex has at least 1 more point in the competency department from the -1000 they had before. Now let's have Delta's Eurobeat Masters back online, please! And maybe some love for Juno at long last?

Ditz: One thing - are you actually *signed in* to iTunes (i.e. your e-mail appears in the top right of the store) - if you don't sign in, the Upgrade Tracks option doesn't appear in the right menu on the front page.

Cherry, Vicky Vale, and SinclaireStyle Special Collections announced for the release date of July 29th!

I'm excited about the Sinclaire Style Special Collections. Now all we gotta see is the other labels!

Well, for those worried about whether the "minor" artists would ever see their Extendeds released from Euromach, I'd say you just got all the confirmation you need. Those tracklists in full:

SUPER EUROBEAT presents SINCLAIRESTYLE Special COLLECTION VOL.2

1. BOOM BOOM FIRE / D.ESSEX

10. SPEEDY SPEED BOY / MARKO POLO
11. LISTEN TO EUROBEAT / TOKYO FUTURE
12. DANCING CRAZY / D.ESSEX

Bold tracks are the ones of particular interest (since they're Euromach or even unreleased/not easy to find).

I was a little confused about "Go Say Goal" vs. "Go! Save Goal!" - seems like two versions of the same song?

Seems to be almost an entirely Leonardi month, so if you ain't a fan of his style then you're a bit out of luck! ;)

WHY WHY / BIG JIM

Damn now that's one I always desired to hear at least on SEB edit.

Yeah, I hope so because those euromach-era TIME vinyls are really hard to come by :( :( like the zorro zorro one

These releases actually caught me offguard. Very interesting.

I am extremely excited for Why Why also, because that song is awesomeeee

Wow this looks like a fantastic release, here's hoping for more sinclaire releases in the future. (NEED Drama's Slave to the Rhythm and more Cody)

Go Say/Save Goal are 2 different songs (one is 1996 and other is 2002 production)
