thanks, not a bad song at all. I miss the old BPMs. I wonder if newfield lend a hand in the production or mixing of that song? I couldn't any producer credits listed anywhere. not even discogs nor Eurosati.

Personally I prefer it - punchier drums and more power in general. Think the preview clip doesn't do it justice - seems to munge the overall sound of it.

Then again the original of this was a pretty rubbish Saifam track anyway.

Seriously? What's the point of this? As if the rehashes weren't enough - this is just a rehash of another rehash. :neutral:

It really lets me down that a label as brilliant as Saifam would ever let themselves sink this deep. I know they've been around for a while now, but I really don't think it would be this hard for them to finally produce something even remotely original. I suspect they're just really demotivated at this point, since producing eurobeat doesn't give them nearly as much attention as it did a few years ago, back when they were awesome.

I'd say, just change the style of Eurobeat, so it becomes more interesting for foreigners to listen to. Indeed, they are demotivated. Avex is extremely strict these days when it comes to accepting Eurobeat songs.

I think Avex tried enough to save the genre, but it obviously doesn't work. We, and they probably can't save it anymore, as the interest in the genre keeps decreasing so rapidly. Hopefully SEB201 can give us a new kind of Eurobeat, that will change EVERYTHING. I really wouldn't mind at this point if some drastical changed were made in the style of Eurobeat, as long as we can hear music being produced by our favorite labels, I'm ok with it.

Personally, I don't really care about ParaPara. So I wouldn't mind if parapara would be gone after changing the genre. We need slower sounds, and slower synths. Just as better lyrics. Eurobeat just can't continue on the way it is now, almost no profit can be made anymore.

C'mon look at the differences of the sales of SEB100 and SEB200. The difference is HUGE.

Avex did what they can, they're hopeless. Just as the labels, they don't know what's going to happen. It's what Laurent said ''we get more info from fans than avex ppl..''

If I was in the same situation as the Asia crew is right now, I wouldn't even try to create new songs anymore.

Respects for those people.

But I don't like that they copy parts from a Dima Music song :|

For me Eurobeat can either be slowed down or sped up, but not change too drastically for else it will lose it's essence and become just another crap dance genre. I personally do not care for any dance genre other than Disco/Italo Hi NRG and Eurobeat. each one progressed into the next.
AVEX doesn't know how to market Eurobeat. They are too greedy to take chances on the label's producers and That chick in charge should get the boot. That's my thoughts.

I spoke to a few girls about ParaPara while I was in Japan just a few weeks back; most knew what it was, but they all basically said it was a passing fad and that it probably won't ever make a comeback. It's safe to say that most Japanese have moved on from ParaPara.

Is eurobeat dying? Well, I couldn't find a single eurobeat CD at Tower Records Shibuya, which I found very surprising. I found a couple from the 180s at HMV Shibuya, but they didn't stock anything beyond the 180s. Neither store stocked volume 200, which says a lot. I heard a couple of eurobeat songs playing over the loudspeakers at one of the shopping areas under one of Tokyo's train stations (the only song I recognised was Crystal's "Walk a Mile in My Shoes"). So there's evidence that eurobeat still lingers in Japan, it's just a question of how much longer.

Personally, I doubt slower eurobeat will bode well with the Japanese audience. I know some will like it, but I can't see Avex making a huge profit out of it. At this stage, some drastic changes need to be made to save the genre, so it's worth a shot I guess.

I seldom listen to eurobeat anymore, which I can attribute to a combination of boredom due to no new eurobeat for ~6 months and frustration with Avex. While I'd love to keep supporting the genre, my money is better off elsewhere these days sadly.

This basically sums up my sentiment - Avex has effectively killed my interest in Eurobeat by leaving it so long to release an album with new material. I lost interest once they went with megamixes for 197 - so that means I haven't bought an album of new Eurobeat in practically a year. Sure, the iTunes albums have been nice, but they've only augmented songs I already knew by providing them in extended form.

I come back to classic songs I enjoy from time to time, but not so much anymore. Eurobeat is a dying trend, for me.

that's the thing to most poeple Eurobeat is a trend. I guess you would have to be into it way before it was even called Eurobeat to really not ever get bored with it. It's those addivctive synth riffs and comon melodies that have been around since Italo Disco that really keep me in tune with Eueobeat. The vocals and lyrics are an added bonus. I didn't really ever care for the Parapara trend, but it's hard to deny It's importance to Eurobeat. Sadly all over the world, the music industry is cramming down everyone throats all this Lady Gaga, and Hip Hop music and that pretty much infests young listeners' minds as well as closes off thier musical tastes. Just turn on the radio and see what I mean. It's no longer a free music market and pretty much Clear Channel(anti-christ of the industry) has changed the face of radio, by limiting what can be played and what cannot.
Eurobeat can survive through forums and the internet. Japan is an important factor to Eurobeat, but I'm not putting all my faith in one country to make or break Eurobeat. next we will be having these riciculous team ups that pop up all over the charts, like Rihanna Feat Lady Gaga W/ rap by P Diddy backed up by audio tone from Chris Brown feat/ Young Jeezy waving his arms and Snoop dog smoking a blunt. with a very special production from Timbaland feat. Timberake and his old boy band N Synch and in very small print feat Dave Rodgers on guitars Is that the drastic change peoples want?
