Eurobeat Forever - New Compilation
I figured I might as well take the initiative and spread the word about Eurobeat Forever, a new eurobeat compilation album with independent labels and producers. This release will be a big step in expanding the world of eurobeat as well as bringing the power to the "little guys". The compilation will consist of many different well-known producers and labels but they will be unveiled as the weeks go on until a final release date for the first album is determined.
For now, please check out our site, watch the teaser, rage, rave, etc. I hope you enjoy the release and if there are any questions or comments you'd like to make, we're all ears!

I like that Disko Warp song. Nice synth and the vocals are just warped enuff for me to like them. I've heard the Kelly and Hilary remixes before. I think they are pretty cool.
Your Youtube tease is way too vague for me to pinpoint anything, but I heard quite a few tasty riffs.
Best of luck with the project. Hopefully you will put it on Juno and not just iTunes.

@Bonkers - Yes, this will be an international release but produced mainly in the U.S. and it will be released at a great price. We all know the difficulty of releasing music nowadays with torrents and sharing sites so we hope to be able to sell it very cheap so that people will support us and we can continue making more. We have some Japanese people, Canadians, etc. working on stuff as well. And no, no covers or remixes. Everything will be original. The samples you heard are just samples of other work, not what will be on the album.
@drnrg - Thank you, we have lots more info coming soon as well as more producers/labels joining us. I'm not 100% on the distributors yet but Juno and Bandcamp are two we're looking into. It's nice to have variety.

You should use Feiyr, if I am right this is the company which sends the material for most Eurobeat labels to the digital webshops (iTunes/Juno etc..). I use it as well, works great.Shinraikan wrote:@Bonkers - Yes, this will be an international release but produced mainly in the U.S. and it will be released at a great price. We're starting out with basically no money so for now there will be no CD release. Of course if the demand is high enough once the album is release we will press back copies upon demand. I'll put up a poll on the website sometime after release which is right now, tentatively the last week of October.

So yeah, we've been pushed back quite a bit, but for good reasons; getting a good amount of songs, not-rushed art and logo, etc. I've put up a new teaser video that while it isn't much, it's a good appetizer to sink your teeth into until the main course arrives.

No offense to your friends at Disko Warp, but too many of their tracks' lyrics sound like they were written for 14 year olds..."werewolf boyfriend", "text me too much"....The best track I've heard off that label is "Don't Don't Go Away". I like the sounds in the teaser video a lot better.Shinraikan wrote:So yeah, we've been pushed back quite a bit, but for good reasons; getting a good amount of songs, not-rushed art and logo, etc. I've put up a new teaser video that while it isn't much, it's a good appetizer to sink your teeth into until the main course arrives.
