That's Avex for you (?) They don't talk to the Internet community.

If I remember correctly, only about 350 people signed it, which isn't much unfortunately.

Cool results.
Shame that Avex only listened to their own ideas of which didn't obviously work!! Why? Look where we are today!

Hey, don't those "availability" results say anything?

I guess they did expand upon the really positive consensus for SCP. It probably encouraged them not only to release the label's new songs on iTunes, but also to get the label to make Samurai Blue and the Hotblade songs from the 210's, and I think it's no surprise that those were pretty big hits for the eurobeat community.

On the other hand, I guess it's no surprise, based on these results, why Eurogrooves was completely thrown under the bus after Take This Way. :(

Probably not, the resutls were sent to Nanae in July while Take This Way was released in May.

Uh I don't recall anybody liking "Samurai Blue" that much?

I thought it was the most forgettable SCP song of the decade.

The point is really just that Eurogrooves never made any original songs from after Take This Way all the way through the 210's. Avex probably would've encouraged them to do so had they gotten better reception in the survey.

It was on both SEB 210 and SEB 220, as well as Best of Super Eurobeat 2010, so it clearly got some serious attention, within the Eurobeat-Prime community or not.

Samurai Blue is a big song because of the routine to it I think. It is played often in the clubs based on lists I have made.
