Anyone use OpenMPT? (Newbie)

Anyone use OpenMPT for their Eurobeat compositions? I'm too poor to afford any cool software and I prefer the whole tracker interface.

If so, where would be a good start on creating my own sounds or finding cool samples and/or plugins? I need some cool synths and drums.

I do, still after all these years It's just the most natural starting point.

No idea. I've always used stuff ripped from mods. It doesn't really matter for me because after the first phase in OpenMPT, I convert the track into midi anyway, which, in turn, is imported into Pro Tools.
