Unless this has been rescheduled, it was cancelled a couple of weeks ago due to the weather (and some say poor ticket sales).

Yes it was cancelled 10th july due to the weather. (In the end -with help of The Sun- 50.000 + tickets were sold so the bad rumours weren't completely true). I have seen the grounds and it was very swampy. Definitely not fit for a concert. Saw some pics too from the event before and that wasn't fun.

I heard Pete tries to reschedule something before christmas but 'that isn't that easy' ...

Really hope to see Kylie, Rick, Jason, Sinitta, Sonia, Sybil, 2 Unlimited, Brother Beyond, Princess, Bananarama, Lonnie Gordon etc. in the end of this year performing somewhere.

London was fun nevertheless

Seems the fans got Rick-rolled :P

I'm actually a big Rick Astly fan. Wonder why Dead Or Alive weren't on the rostre? They were clearly the most successful SAW act of the 80's.

Anyway, Kylie's new song; TIME Bomb isn't bad at all and she always looks hot.

Dead or alive was (hopefully is :-)) included too.
(You spin me around was the first number 1 for S.A.W.)

There's no news about a possible new event so far.
But, this was the complete line up:

Kylie Minogue
Jason Donovan
Steps
Rick Astley
Sonia
Sinitta
Bananarama
2 Unlimited
Sybil
Brother Beyond
Pepsi & Shirley
Lonnie Gordon
Dead Or Alive
Princess
Hazell Dean
LoveLand ft Rachel McFarlane

Pat & Mick, Pete Waterman, Michaela Strachan (She was "HER" from The Hitman and Her and made two pop singles "Take good care of my heart" and "H.A.P.P.Y. radio)

Hope it "happens all over again" soon in the 02!

There's actually a documentary about S.A.W. called "The Hit Factory" on the ITV channel in the UK right now - think I might record it ;)

Mel & Kim were always my fave for some reason - loved both Respectable and Showin' Out :D
