Betty Who - Somebody Loves You

has a great 80's feel, so if you speed it up, it could make a good Eurobeat song. SCP couldprobly tackle it

Jump by Van Halen. Ha! This is, like, a classic of rock music. But that particular song is heavy on a synth pattern which makes it particularly easy to transcribe into Eurobeat. Any energetic male in Eurobeat could pull it off easily: Manuel, Fastway, Mark Farina, etc.
The is eurobeat-ish version by The Rapido's

Speed Records. It's more Hard Dance than Eurobeat. So, I don't even consider it.

It's not from Speed Records. It's from Coverland a sub-label of LED Records.

Covering Mike Mareen(one of my favourit 80s Hi-NRG ,artists) would indeed be interesting, but his songs were all about the massive synth mid breaks. At the moment I can only see Delta and HRG Attack tackleing those covers. One of HRG Attacks best and longest synth breaks was "Danger" by Franz Tornado. I believe they could do wonders with Mike mareen's material.

I'd like to see a Eurobeat cover of Walk The Moon "Shut Up + Dance" one of my 2015 favs.

Nice topic, very inspiring for my series of Eurobeat covers. Not only the ideas for cover songs but also for the styles they should sound like. I will do my very best to satisfy some of your demands here. :)

Someone mentioned French Eurobeat here … so I guess I will make a video with a French Eurobeat cover tomorrow. But I won't tell which one it is yet. :P

How about

Images - Les Demons De Minuit

The synth riff is jumpy enough to suit Eurobeat

To be honest, I never thought about, which Pop or Rock-Song I want to hear as Eurobeat-Mix. Because I can't really imagine, how the song sounds as Eurobeat.

But maybe some Michael Jackson-Songs would be perfect for that. Since I've heard DJ Moonraker's "BAD", I would love to hear some other MJ-Songs as Eurobeat-Mix. Maybe "Smooth Criminal" or my favorite song "Speed Demon". That would be awesome. But like I said, I never really thought about it. Maybe cause Eurobeat is Eurobeat and Rock is Rock.
