threadomancy: Eurodance that sounds like Eurobeat

Post by wolftickets1969 » 08 Aug 2008, 07:16

Recently discovered an artist called BPM from Germany, who is one of the few artists who does true Eurodance nowadays. The original mix of "Shocking the Dancefloor" has Eurobeat written all over it, complete with the fast BPM(no pun intended), except for maybe the rapping. The hook also reminds me of Double You - Dancing With An Angel(classic Italo Eurodance)

That's my contribution, since I really know very little about Eurodance.

Haddaway and those guys that sing "Blue" are all I recall at this TIME :P

Eiffel 65 is what they call "nu italo dance"(the stuff with kind of a marching beat and warped vocals).

Eiffel 65. Yeah, that's them! The only name that came to mind was Arena 69, but that is TIME.

Actually, WLtP(not to be confused with We Love Techpara) came out first, so its the other way around. On Euromach Final, IkeIke has the "we like to party" sample mixed into it. The hook of Doll Sisters - Revolution also sounds like a Vengaboys song.

Modo - Eins Zwei Polizei, sounds kind of like hyper techno too, supposedly it was produced in Italy although the singer/rapper is German.

Basic Element - The Ride
Kim Sanders - Ride(no relation to the above), could almost use an actual Eurobeat remake

I think that this topic's name should be Eurodance that sounds like Eurodance

It's true that B.P.M makes old-a-days eurodance, but there's little resemblence to eurobeat. The first time i heard about B.P.M was couple of years ago, the song Catwalk to Heaven. It's nice to see that the project still lives.

Good songs, hope they keep them coming.

Angelina - Without Your Love(Euro Pop Mix), does this remind you of a certain Eurobeat song? The melody pattern, the vocal style, etc.
