Those releases are really good and pretty authentic to the 1980s italo disco sound! I hope to bring back italo disco myself someday too. :D Very inspirational.

Laurent Newfield..well,i like some of his music work, but i dislike his negative attitude toward software production (used to discuss with him for synthesis knowledge, but he just cackle about his superior analog gears and recommend buying his sample pack)

are synth purists all the same? "not blame all"

I have never gotten a chance to meet Laurent Newfield, but yeah like I don't expect to capture a particular sound perfectly. All I care is that I have something that sounds like 80s/90s eurobeat, and that I have a pattern that suits the feel of my song. Plus, I kind of modernize these sounds anyways.

Why are particular people biased about software just because it doesn't capture something purely analog anyways? His expectations for other people getting his sample pack seem way to tall.

both analog, digital have it's own disavantage and advantage, unique properties .....
ignore troll and haters, who blindly don't understand the nature of matter!

well, not all synth purist, sound expert open minded to digital, software production anyway! you have to accept that, they still stick with the glory of their old good analog gears, prefer making&recording in traditional ways, they have their own reasons and personal taste! :)

for me, i just need a laptop (DAW,VST,sample),a high quality headphone (and maybe decent speaker), a decent mic, a decent midi keyboard,a comfortable chair....so i have enough tools i need to make my music making hobby fly high to sky! :P

Yeah it is all a matter of personal taste indeed! I think it is a pretty good pack I gotta say, but it sounds like he shoves his tastes down people's throats.

I like both analog and digital, but I could only get a chance to do digital. People with analog synth gear in my opinion are very fortunate, but agreed to the advantages and disadvantages on both.

And awesome, when you get a chance to do your own music with the equipment you need, you should share them! I look forward to it! :D
