I'm playing with my production workflows, and I think this might be one where it would be helpful to have more ears!

If you have a moment, I would really appreciate it if you could listen to the clip above. There are snippets of SCP-Music's remix of "Discord", followed by two tests run by your fearless leader. There is a noticeable difference between the two. Which one do you think matches closer? which one do you guys think sounds better? ^-^

Thank you to the, erm, one response I've gotten haha! I know It's a slow site, but thank you all the same! .

From all the tests I've done, I'm going with the first option. Much better and less distorted, and with no loss of the high frequencies .
