The 80min CDDA follows the Red Book standard. Why the fuck Avex stays clear away from it when they CLEARLY did did some CDs longer than 74min the past? *cough*seb160170190200210220cds*cough* They can do it. Why do they avoid it like the plague for the normal compilation? It's not a limitation. If we're able to do Red Book standards CD-R at home that allows to 80min (well, really only 79:57 and a couple of frames), why do they stay clear away from it?
For reference, since the start of the 15 tracks standard...
SEB 220: 76:27, 75:28
SEB 221: 71:15
SEB 222: 72:38 (this one had SIXTEEN TRACKS!!!)
SEB 223: 71:14
SEB 224: 70:30
SEB 225: 72:19
SEB 226: 72:07
SEB 227: 70:05
SEB 228: 72:58
SEB 229: 72:22
SEB 230: 73:54, 71:38
SEB 231: 73:45
SEB 232: 70:41
SEB 233: 74:24 (the only exception. ...woohoo...)
SEB 234: 70:55
SEB 235: 73:35
SEB 236: 72:12
SEB 237: 71:34
SEB 238: 72:23
SEB 239: 72:25

Yeah its too bad they stuck with the 15 track maximum (222 must have been an accident) because looking at the those volumes (depending on the song length) at least 1 maybe 2 tracks could be added to each volume!
The truly sad thing about it is that there are a bunch of unreleased songs that never came out on vinyl OR CD (rejected or for whatever reason).

I would rather have the 15 tracks they have now and make the existing songs a bit longer than adding one or two more 4:00 songs.
SEB 222 had tracks, but the legnth of the songs suffered. The songs were good, but no thanks and if the cd is actually around 80 mins, than there really is no excuse for tracks shorter than 4:30 mins by all labels. keeping in mind; the normal 5:00 tracks of DELTA, HRG Attack, DELTA ,Dima and Saifam. Maybe even taken on six minute track like Cherry's awesome; "Never Again" on SEB 239.

You know, with the current length, they can had a 6min track... 2 4-min, unless they edit a song or two else where is not gonna fit. FYI.
