EUROLOVERS YT Channal has been terminated

Come down please. This is Japan !
American, european cultural habits aren't accepted in Japan. It's not attitude to negotiations or even having a request saying "I want now, I demand". Obtrusive, pressing behavior will be considered as danger and affronted.
Who from this forum is ready to sign a polite letter by your real name and your country, with a sensible request that you really would like to pay on iTunes for SEB?
Roberto Gabrielli offered help if truly exists a group, which will buy SEB in digital format.
He will contact proper worker, boss and provide your request.
SEB fan page used to promotion or any e-mail to big corporation isn't at all the way to find solution.
It's the only one chance again, instead of disturbing people in Italy or in different Avex Trax departments, where nobody can't decide or even analize your request.

How are we gonna do that? Petitions don't work you know! Well some petitions do work actually yeah.DirectorK wrote:Done!Bonkers wrote:Well, I left a friendly message on their page! Others need to join!!
In addition, let's get a petition going. Let's send a clear message to both Avex Trax and the labels that says: "WE WANT EUROBEAT ONLINE NOW!
And if that doesn't work, we need to go to Japan and march straight up to Avex Trax HQ so they can see with their own eyes that we exist and we will not leave until we get what we want.
WE WANT EUROBEAT ONLINE NOW!
Long live SUPER EUROBEAT!!!!
I prefer SEB edits and Extended versions instead.Lebon14 wrote:Only iTunes? Urgh. Nope.Crockett wrote:Who from this forum is ready to sign a polite letter by your real name and your country, with a sensible request that you really would like to pay on iTunes for SEB?

For me to remotely make ANY letter with my real name on it, it has to meet those conditions:
* ALL SEB albums released not only on iTunes and Amazon MP3, but other platforms such as bandcamp, junodownload, beatport, hdtracks, etc. Also introduce streaming: spotify, apple music, etc.
* SEB compilations that were non-stops must have the mixes themselves and the extended tracks.
* SEB compilations that had edits must be offered in extended.
* Avex must NOT force the italian labels that offers releases on these platforms to pull down their releases so Avex can have exclusivity.
* All releases must be released at a fair price. New release can have a "full price" for a while then be discounted after a certain time (6 months?).
Optional bonus 1: release spin-off compilations such as Initial D comps, euromach, maharaja, SEB Presents, etc. compilations with the same conditions as above.
Optional bonus 2: distribute new CDs to Amazon in the US, Canada, France, Germany, etc. for a fair price.
If I can't have all of these, I'm not signing. I'm just better off buying the CD.
Long live SUPER EUROBEAT!!!!
I just spoken with Roberto Gabrielli through an open letter I sent him yesterday. He understands our frustration and acknowledges what we want so he's going to everything he can to try to get Eurobeat online.
In addition, he also gave me a surprising revelation. According to him, EUROLOVERS wasn't terminated because the person running it uploaded songs from SEB 241. It was actually because the person was monetizing the videos when he/she wasn't suppose to and when Roberto and others tried to talk to the person about it they were ignored. So the truth is that the producers don't seem to have any issue with people uploading Eurobeat music on YouTube as long as they don't try to monetize them. EUROLOVERS was strictly told not to and yet the person did it anyway. Roberto takes responsibility for what happened and apologizes for it, but it had to be done.
If this is true then I have to take back what I said about EUROLOVERS doing it for nothing because it shows that he/she was dishonest and therefore deserved to have their channel taken down. I'm still upset about it, but now for a totally different reason. EUROLOVERS should have known better than to monetize the videos.

I'm not sure if I'm following you. However, if you actually read the comment after I wrote that, you'd discover why I wrote that in the first place.MAITANZA wrote:I prefer SEB edits and Extended versions instead.
@DirectorK Indeed. If that was the real issue then, I agree with the shutdown. Everything I've done personally was not for profit and never will be. Even if I'm known for what I'm doing, I never did in order to make cash off others' work. It's against my morals here.

Funny how people were jumping all over Avex /see OP/ and wow...come to find out that ELs was the problem...This is what happens when people jump to conclusions.DirectorK wrote:I just spoken with Roberto Gabrielli through an open letter I sent him yesterday. Sure they don't care…xiao wrote:★ haha AMEN! ♡ Avex doesn't care about YouTube ~ I know cause I've spoken with J-people that work in the SEB dept of Avex. The YT algorithm does all the work work for them ~ channels are taken down via individual/powerful claims.para_rigby wrote:Funny how people were jumping all over Avex /see OP/ and wow...come to find out that ELs was the problem...This is what happens when people jump to conclusions.
★ aaand we arrive at the same conclusion at of the start of this thread ~ nothing's gonna be fix'ed ~ Channels are gonna rise & fall thru the course of the internet's time.
★ But Avex is a record company not a genre-company ~ and they'll keep putting out releases even if it's only 1 copy that's selling ~ according to an old interview of Matsuura from a long forgotten age ...![]()

Just in case you don't know how this stuff works…
Yay lets upload a video (Avex's eurobeat)
Hmm let's monetize it? Yes!
Days later…
"Hey, I saw that you monetized this one song and it's mine"
"So you either delete it or let me monetize instead"
As I was able to see these last days, since the system is automated, they don't check sh*t. What's been happening to several channels is the following: false claims from Avex (and minor labels) towards the uploaders.
What must have happened, I assume, is what would happen to me (if I didn't back off and give up): That channel's uploader probably started disputing these false claims and started getting either no responses or turned down, appealing and getting copyright strikes.
I doubt they got terminated because they "monetized" these videos since it's really unlikely, they probably tried to go against this unfairness and got f*cked. Well, we didn't ask for permission to put that stuff online so serve us well.
What makes me really mad is the fact that we, as content creators, have no power against a big company if they simply feel like having a feast because they can abuse the YouTube system as they please, that's what Avex is doing lol

Hey, come on! Give me a break. You probably would have had the same reaction if you woke up the day after Thanksgiving and found out that your favorite Eurobeat channel was suddenly gone and then you had to reorganize all your Eurobeat playlists.para_rigby wrote:Funny how people were jumping all over Avex /see OP/ and wow...come to find out that ELs was the problem...This is what happens when people jump to conclusions.
Had we been told before then I wouldn't be as upset. Or I would be if what Roberto said is true. Then I'd be pissed off for a very different reason.
Oh, I didn't say I was letting Avex or even the labels off the hook. I'd be the first to rant about the copyright bullshit that goes on on YouTube. I'm not trying to say that what Roberto told me was a lie, but at the same time we don't know what really happened. Maybe what you just said is what happened or maybe EUROLOVERS really did overstep his/her bounds seeing how the person never responded to anyone.Just in case you don't know how this stuff works…

Whatever the case, we have reason to be upset because at the end of the day we ended up losing the most important Eurobeat channel on YouTube.
One other thing I should mention, Roberto seemed surprised that EUROLOVERS might have been someone who worked for Avex. He assumed it was one of the producers.
