EDIT: Oh yeah and I was a big fan of HRG during euromach, but also eurobeat flash era rocked. But to be quite frank, they had pretty much as much crap as well as great songs during both of these periods (like currently as well). So I'd really hope to have a more objective option for the poll (*edits*). Objective being: All or nothing...

The late 90s isn't too old lol. In fact, you can hear some great gems from the series especially with Jenny Rom's vocalist was with HI-NRG ATTACK. Nice old-school from that especially.

To be honest: I never heard the Euromach-Volumes. I mean, yes, I'm familiar with the Volumes, cause the CD-Covers look so... funny! :D For some reason I love this art-style. But I have to confess, that I never listened to the songs. And the reason ist: The songs are tooooo short. Some of them had a playtime of only 3 Minutes, other 2 Minutes or even shorter. This is not really my thing. I just heard the Best of Euromach 100 and some songs, than have at least more than just 3 minutes, but nothing more.

So this is why I give my vote to Super Eurobeat and Eurobeat Flash. Cause I'm more familiar with these songs and I heard every song from these Volumes. Yes, meanwhile I heard EVERY songs from all these Volumes.

And my TOP 5 from each era are..., ehm.....

Oh NO, PLEASE, NOT A TOP 5 or TOP 10 again! >< Cause I have more than just 5 favorite-songs & it's always hard to choose. Always the same...

My favorites from Super Eurobeat? Look in another thread!
My favorites from Eurobeat Flash? Also look in another thread!

Pretty stupid reason for not to deal with these Volumes. Even a dumber reason as my reason for not to listen to Euromach.

See, people? That's exactly what I was talking about in another thread. That confirms my statement, that you should also listen to the older Eurobeat-songs from the 90's or even older and not only to the modern Eurobeat-songs. OK, do as you wish, I mean, it's not like that I give a damn about what you hear and what not, but this is imo not right to ignore a whole Eurobeat-series, cause it's... pardon.... to OLD! Man, the word "OLD" doesn't exists in the Eurobeat-genre. Don't forget, where Eurobeat actually comes from. That's pretty ignorant.

But OK, not my problem if you miss some good tracks. >_>

I also have something to say, since you decided to revive the ancient topic.

I would vote for euromach, because it covers a large number of HRG-attack periods from 1996 to 2001. At this time, their style changed almost every year, from super accelerated Italo-disco to melodies with a jumping rhythm, with which "hi-nrg attack" will enter to SEB in 2003.
But SEB's era wasn't very successful. Their tracks no longer compiled the majority on compilations as before (logical, but sad). And the transition from analog equipment in 2004 had a bad effect on the quality of the tracks. Nevertheless, until ~ 2008, interesting things continued to appear. Since 2009-10, all the tracks have become equally boring and not perky, as for me.
Again, this is just my opinion.

Top 5 from each era.

EBF
Michelle Rose - Baby Come Back to Me (1994)
Mara Nell - Back to the Melody (1996)
Baby Gold - Crazy for You (1996)
Princess F. - Infidelity (1997)
Live Music Gang - I Lose My Shoes (1997)

Euromach
Cy-Ro - Delta Force (1996)
Mara Nell - Rain Man (1997)
Boogaboo - Burn Burn Get My Fire (1999)
Chris - Viva L'amour (2000)
Mara Nell - You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Girl (1999)

SEB
Franz Tornado & Bazooka Girl - Motto-Motto Inamoto (Caballero Remix) (2002)
Black Eva - Over the Rainbow
Garcon - Super Kaiser (2003)
Leslie Hammond - S.O.S. and Loving All Around
Nikita Jr. - Happy Snappy Valentine

I love the rougher drum samples Hi-NRG Attack used during it's Eurobeat Flash era. The basslines were raw, the drums were stompy. They were definitely offering something different back then and providing a more underground sound to the genre.
